Manual UETR‐MOST‐SW „Maintenance and Settings“
A T T E N T I O N :
This software is intended for maintenance, con‐
figuration and monitoring of the UETR‐MOST‐
16A temperature controller and it is designed as a Micro‐
soft™ ‐ClickOnce‐Application.
For the operation of this software the UETR‐MOST‐USB inter‐
face‐cable is required. The interface‐cable can be purchased
at uwetronic GmbH or at any of it’s distribution channels.
Only with the interface‐cable the operation is possible and
permitted.
When using the software with the UETR‐MOST‐USB, the op‐

In the text “temperature controller” is used as a synonym for
the UETR‐MOST‐16A temperature controller.
Start:
1. The driver for the interface‐cable is also supplied and
must be installed before operation on the PC.
(CDM20814_setup.exe). See example.
Current versions of the driver can be found here:
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm
2. The connetion must be done on the serial interface of the
UETR‐MOST‐16A as following:
RED to X1 (Rx),
YELLOW to X2 (Tx)
Black to X4 (GND)
3. The temperature controller must be powered on and
must be supplied with the correct voltage.
ATTENTION! An incorrect connection to the control‐

5. Initialize the connection by pressing the „Search for De‐
vices“ button and choose the interface‐cable with the
shown serial number.
Disconnection:
• Use the button „close“ to disconnect the connection to
the temperature controller

Logged Data
Aside of “Programming” this frame is
the most relevant information on the
current operation of the temperature
controller. Data of temperature as
well as the supplied voltage are shown
graphical and are also included in the
table. Moreover the list also provides
information on the date of measure‐
ment, time in seconds from start of
program, and the status modes
“control” , “direction”, “Err1” to
“Err5” of the temperature controller.
The “blue marked” spots are the just
explained features.
The display in the chart can be ad‐
justed according to the available opti‐
ons.
For the “maximum record duration”
1h, 12h or 24h can be selected.
In the diagram the scales can be
changed by clicking and holding the
left mouse button. (green box and
arrows). A special option is included in
the list table, as the containing values
can be copied directly into a MS‐
EXCEL™ Spreadsheet. All other forms
of representation can be taken as
usual with Windows "drag and drop"
in your own documents.
TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT
Programming
"Programming" is used for the moni‐
toring and the programming of the
operation‐ and setvalues of the tem‐
perature controller. This frame con‐
tains all options and possible settings
that are available on the controller.
The operation parameters of
"controller settings" are named the
same way as in the manual of the con‐
troller.
For changing the configuration of the
temperature controller as well as the
downloading of the current configura‐
tion of the controller, it is always nec‐
essary to set the controller into the
“config mode”.
With the function "controller commu‐
nication" the settings of the control‐
ler are read and written.
With the option "file manipulation"
the configuration data can be ex‐
ported and saved as a file.
After changing the settings of the
temperature controller, the controller
must be set to RUN‐mode again. This
can be done by:
1. Choosing the Run mode
(selected field)
2. Confirming the selection by
clicking "run selected mode"
