3 . Controls and Indications

1. GROUP A ALARM (Red): The LED illuminates

flashing when one of the four inputs in Group 'A'
are active. This LED flashes in antiphase to the
input LED and will illuminate steady when the
module is accepted via the. facilities module., . It . , .

2 to 4. INPUT A (Red/Yellow): These four LEDS are

bi-coloured and will illuminate flashing if the *- fi

facilities module. It may also be illuminated from
the reflash (R/F) carry input for Group 'B'. 4- 9

6 to 10 INPUT B (Red/Yellow) : These four LEDS are
bi-coloured and will illuminate flashing if the
associated input is active and will steady on

4. Functional Description
In the following description only Groin 'A' Inputs 1 to 4 FUSE FAILURE

ALARM

output on 1A (Terminal 6) and also on the 'F' reflash
output (Terminal 10). The front panel LED IA will flash
and the 'A' LED will flash in antiphase.

Whew the module is accepted, via the facilities module, all

active LEDs will illuminate steady and the flashing outputs
will give a steady 24V do output .

Should a second alarm become active on Group 'A', e.g

Input 2 (Terminal 2), the output 2A (Terminal 'n will flash
24V dc/HiZ and the Group 'A' output Terminal 1p
(previously steady from accepted alarm IA) will reflash.

The front panel LED 2A will flash (the alarm LED IA

remaining steady) and the Group 'A' LED will flash in
antipUase to the LED 2A .
This sequence continues for all four inputs in the group.

The group reflash outputs can be cascaded by linking the -.

reflash output of one group to the R/F carry input of
another group. This enables one output to flash for more
than four steady inputs . This will be indicated by the input
alarm LED and all affected group front panel LEDs .

All inputs are non latching and .an ,alarm .will,- .via_~ the , . . .,
facilities module, generate a common. alarm .and -alarm _ _
sounder outputs.

FAULT MONITORING

Should a monitored input line become open circuit the

relevant LED will illuminate yellow immediately, and a
signal will, via the facilities module, give a common fault
and fault sounder output. Acceptance of the fault will
cause the fault sounder to cancel .

All fault monitoring indications and outputs are non

latching .
