    COORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS

    I. OBJECTIVES

    At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

    1. Recognize coordinating conjunctions in sentemces.

    2. Express thoughts on the importance of coordinating conjunctions.

    3. Construct sentences using coordinating conjunctions.

    Worksheet

    Manila Paper

    Marker

    IV. PROCEDURE

    A. PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES

    The teacher greet the students and then asks them to keep away unnecessary things from their
    desks .

    B. MOTIVATION

    A. The teacher presents four pictures in the blackboard.

    B. The students will guest what specific word fits in the theme of the photo presented.
    C. The teache asks the class what is the word and if they have idea what kind of word is
    that.

    C. LESSON PROPER

    A. The teacher will asks "Did anyone knows that the words listed on the board are
    coordinating conjunctions?"

    B. Introduce the mnemonic FANBOYS as a way to remember the seven coordinating


    conjunctions.

    C. Let the students construct their own sentences using coordinating conjunctions.

    D. Asks the importance of coordianting conjunctions.

    V. EVALUATION

    The teacher will pass out the worksheet and have the students work independently to complete.

    VI. HOMEWORK

    On a one whole sheet of paper, construct 5 sentences using coordinating conjunctions. To be collected
    next meeting.
