completely multiplicative.
(2) For a composite number n we have (n − 1)! ≡ 0(mod n).
(3) (T/F): b2xc + b2yc 6 bxc + byc + bx + yc.
(4) Last two digits in decimal expansion of 3400 is ..........
(5) (T/F):

(6) (T/F): Let n be a positive integer. d(n) is odd if and only if n is a square or twice
a square. (Here d(n) denotes the divisor function)

(7) (T/F): There exist positive integers m and n such that (22 + 1, 22 + 1) > 1.
(8) Prove that for every integer n we have µ(n)µ(n + 1)µ(n + 2)µ(n + 3) = 0. (Prove

where [m, n] denotes the lcm of m and n.

(3) Suppose f (1) = 1 and f ? f (n) = I(n). Show that f is a multiplicative function.
(Here, as usual, I(n) denotes the Dirichlet unity function such that I(1) = 1 and
