Willy Loman
Traits: He is a loving father but unfaithful husband.Willy Loman is a
self-deluded person because he has a big dream and believes
wholeheartedly in the American Dream of easy success and wealth, but
he never achieves it. 
Failure or Success?: In my own perspective, he is a failure because he
wasn’t able to achieve his dream due to his mental state. Beside from
that Willy’s failure to recognize the anguished love offered to him by his
family is crucial to the climax of his torturous day, and the play
presents this incapacity as the real tragedy. 

Linda Loman
Traits: She is a faithful and understanding wife to his husband (Willy
Loman) and a loving mother. She is a strong woman because she uffers
through Willy’s grandiose dreams and self-delusions.
Failure or Success?: She is a successful woman, despite all the
sacrifices he had done for her husband, at the end
Happy Loman
Traits: He is the younger son of Willy and Linda,  Happy is a difficult
character with whom to empathize. He is one-dimensional and static
throughout the play. 
Failure or Success?:
Biff Loman
Traits:  Biff feels compelled to seek the truth about himself because he
represents Willy's vulnerable, poetic, tragic side.
Failure or Success?: In my own perspective, he is successful man.
Despite all the high expectations about him ,he always tried eventhough
he doesn’t love what he’s doing but at the end he did his best to become
a better version of himself.
Charley
Traits: He is a true friend of Willy Loman he  effortlessly achieves the
success that eludes Willy. Willy is jealous of Charley and resents his and his
son Bernard's success from hard work. Bernard, unlike Willy's sons, has
found success and is now a lawyer.
Failure or Success?: He is a successful financially because his son b
ernard has become an attorney, poised to argue before the Supreme Court.
They achieved success through hard work.
Ben Loman
Traits: He is Willy's adventurous and lucky older brother. Ben was able to
take a risk and stray from the world of fierce ambition and competition.
Failure or Success?:
