Regular and Irregular Verbs A regular verb is one whose past and past participle are formed by
adding -ed or -d to the present form.

PRINCIPAL PARTS OF REGULAR VERBS

An irregular verb is one whose past and past participle are not formed by adding -ed or -d to the present
form.
