Backing up SSCFG
Prerequisites Login in background database through telnet or using netra ter-
minal emulation software at operational maintenance terminals.
Take telnet as example, the address of background database is
168.2.16.1 (DCN network address is also useful.) Type in win-
dows command line: telnet 168.2.16.1. Input root in login
field and its password in Password field (The password is a de-
fault one . If it is corrected, the latest one is the true one), then
# character prompts, as is seen in Figure 48.
Note:
Files are backed up under current directory.

Result System prompts backing up files successfully, and then come back
to # prompt .Files could be found in current directory.
Recovering SSCFG
Prerequisites Take telnet as example, the address of background database is
168.2.16.1. Type in windows command line: telnet 168.2.16.1.
Input root in login field and its password in Password field, then
# character prompts, as is seen in Figure 48.
Context This topic describes the procedure to restore SoftSwitch Configu-
ration Database (SSCFG).
Steps 1. stop all running all.out programs:
 Input #cd /home/zxss10/bin to enter into the directory of
running program about background database.
 Input: #./super_stop to stop all running programs.
2. Enter the directory of backing up files, then enter into the SQL
environment as administrator. Delete sscfg user, then create
it and grant it with authority. Detailed steps are as follows:
 Input sqlplus in character # field.
 Input system in User field and its password in Password
field (Default password is manager. But ssxz10 is the
password for database installed by ZTE software. )
 Use drop command to delete sscfg, then use submit and
exit command to save modification and exit. That is to
input: SQL>drop user sscfg cascade;
 Go on executing the following:
SQL>create user “sscfg” profile “default” identified
by “sscfg” default tablespace “sscfg” temporary tabl
espace “temp” account unlock;
SQL>grant connect to sscfg;
SQL>grant resource to sscfg;
SQL>grant select on system.r_version to sscfg;
SQL> connect sys/change_on_install as sysdba
Note:
Default password is manager for system user, but ssxz10 is the
password for database installed by ZTE software.
3. Recover data
 Input imp after # prompt.
 Input sscfg in User field and sscfg in Password field.
