CURRENT JOB PROFILE:

 Performing inspections for the Incoming Raw Material like Valves, Process Piping, Structural,
Plates, Rotary and Static Equipment’s, Welding Consumables etc.,
 Inspecting raw materials to the relevant certification. Review of material certificates and issuing
comments/acceptance note.
 Review documents like ITP (Inspection Test Plan), WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications),
Non Destructive Testing Procedures, painting procedures, Data Sheet, Relevant drawings etc.,
 Review of material certificates and QC documents for various ongoing projects and MTC
submission to client.
 Coordinating with client while material inspection.
 Performing routine surveillance inspections on the activities at material yard.
 Issuance and close out of Non-conformance report.
 RFI (Request for Inspection) and raise MRIR for client inspection.
 Retaining relationship with client to establish technical specifications based on the prevalent
rules.
 Review and approval of various vendor documents, procedures and project relevant certificates
etc.,

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

● Preparing QMS, WPS, PQR, WQT &QA/QC procedures in accordance with quality standards.
● Constantly monitoring the production activities and discussing with the management for the continual
improvement.
● Witness and prepare the MTC,MRIR,Procedure and Welder qualification tests in accordance with codes
& spec's.
● Co-ordinate field, site and client needs and reproduce quality system and procedures if needed.

 ● Co-ordination with the Third Party Inspection Agencies, Certifying authorities and Planning &
Execution Department to complete the job within the stipulated time.
● Preparation of all QA/QC related reports / final Dossier and as-built Drawings.
● Responsible to raise and Follow-up Non Conformance Reports (NCR) and follow application of
correction/preventive actions.
● Reviewing Material and Consumable test certificate ,pre-qualification documents, method statements
,ITP from subcontractors/suppliers
● Controlled material trace ability by monitoring transfer of heat number / material identification,
Material receiving inspection and ensure that the material complied with required standards.
● Monitor the Welders performance and assign the job according the Quality requirements.

● Knowledgeable on metallurgical treatment and stress reliving achieving through Heat treatment.
● Quality inspection in the Piping fabrication such as dimension check, bevel preparation, cleanliness, fit
up, usage of approved electrodes, WPS, welder qualification records, calibration certificates, welding
parameters monitoring, Weld Visual, NDT , etc.
● Prepare Pre-punch list, line checking with test packages, punch clearing, witness Hydro testing.
