1.Introduce Yourself

My name is Kunwar Sher Singh Chhina, I completed my high school in Amritsar , India from
Spring Dale Senior School. Currently I am pursuing my studies in General Business in Alpha
College. I have keen interest in games and other activities. What I learnt from my studies so far
has always helped me in my daily life I am willing to pursue my studies further to learn new
things and work on them I really like to challenge my self and learn new things because
experiencing difficult situation makes people learn and avoid them the next time or solve as it
comes along. I am a good listener and fast learner. I like to travel go new places meet new
people, I don't really get along people so soon but I also surround myself with people I trust and
who help me through everyday life and also work I can get my work done by giving and taking
favours. I have worked at general stores and trucking companies where I learnt how to
communicate at a work place handle pressure and deliver the results in time. I am interested in
establishing my own business but before that I want to gain as much as experience I can gain
being in field and learning. I am a good listener and understand what the person if front of me
want to say or want from an assignment i can work with them and get the result. As I can adjust
according to the situation or place.

2. Why did you choose this area/program of study?

I choose this program of study because this course help me and gain experience from the
different fields and also introduces me how the things work here in Canada helping me know the
rules of conduct at work place my rights and what I should avoid. It thither elaborate on different
fields like Marketing, Human resource, Accounting, ICT, Customer care and Business Law.
Employers now day looks for people who can cover multiple fields and work or face any
situation which comes along the work as nothing can be predicted before in time. In business
people want to hire who can do different works like write report, letter and emails, deliver
presentations, develop communication and listening skills. This course also gives us different
case study and situation to analyze, group projects, assignments and presentations in this course
that we can learn from. I want to have my own small business or company down the road so all
these experience is important for me as working with so many people and studying helps me
build relations which will might help us down the road. As even as an employer who is hiring
looks or try to find someone who is well qualified not just good grades but also job experience
which they would use for their company and make money. We should also chose a good mentor
who teaches us the tricks and help giving solutions with different problems.

3. What will a potential employer find attractive about your current or past accomplishments
and/or education?
As an Employee one is expected to give out certain amount of output as he is paid for a job. For
any person when it comes to making payment for anything one will always make Cost Benefit
Analysis whether the amount or pay is giving to one is right or not. There are sure things that I
have to take a shot at myself yet in the meantime there are things that the employer will discover
intriguing about me. I trust that I have certain qualities that will. enable me to land the position. I
am dedicated and put full endeavours in my working environment and furthermore I attempt to
see the working environment as my own so I work in like manner and enable the work
environment to develop. I have great critical thinking aptitudes as I have learnt this from my
work environment I know how to take care of the issues without anyone else's input and I
additionally help other people now and then. I worked in Uhaul and I work there as a Customer
service representative and I also looked after the inventory as well as receive and sell products
and also closing and opening of the cash drawer on daily basis. Promptness is an essential
perspective in light of the fact that each business needs his representatives to go ahead time and
handle their work so it is imperative. Additionally the given undertaking ought to be finished in
offered time to be set apart as effective and significant. I additionally have great relational
abilities as I can connect with others with deference and can without much of a stretch be

Sometimes especially on weekends and month ends we get too many customers and work and

a) Hard work - Diligent work is the way to progress. Each business needs his representatives to
be dedicated and useful to the organization. The representative should treat the organization as
his own and buckle down. As I discussed it above I work inUhaul during month-end and
weekend it gets so busy we have to do the same usual work but faster and efficiently. I
endeavour to achieve my and organization's objective so I make a decent attempt.

b) Communication — The most extreme significant thing in the work environment is

communication may be it written or verbal since they set the tone for how individuals see you.

5. What is your biggest career aspiration (now or for future)?

My biggest career aspiration is to have a business of my own. I always work as I am working for
my own business and I always try to make maximum profit for the business and make it possible
with my and the whole team efforts. I want to own my own business one day and then I want to
expand my business and also I want to in other field of businesses and handle multiple
businesses at the same time. This is the reason I try to manage things by my own so that I have
the practice of how to deal with the problems that I might face doing business. I also would think
as an employee and would take in considering their problems they may face so I also would be
managing employees. I would have to work in teams so I am already working for it and always
try to work as a team. I ask for help whenever I need and I always help whenever someone
needs. I already am working on my attributes to run a successful business and I work hard for it.
I have a keen observation and I observe the environment around me and try to make it better and
also there are some problems in the workplace I try solving it. I know of a few business who
would give me a Franchise and I can work and run the business under their view and rules, there
are many more ideas I am looking forward to and researching.
