tense. This emphasizes that the action is finished.
3. Direction: Read the sentence carefully and fill in the gap with the correct simple
past tense.
4. Let’s try another example.

Answer: At eight o’clock, we had our dinner and visited the school after.
5. In the activity below, please fill in the blank with the proper simple past tense to
make the sentence correct.

PREPOSITION
1. Preposition (At, In, On)
Error: On five o'clock I want to drink my tea.
Correction: At five o’clock, I want to drink my tea.
At – Used to point out specific time, indicate a place, an email address, festivals, and
activity.
On - Used to specify days, dates, and holiday days , express a surface of something,
indicate a device or machine, such as a phone or computer, indicate a part of the body.
In- Used for unspecific times during a day, month, season and year, indicate a location
or place, indicate a shape, color, or size, express while doing something, and indicate
a belief, opinion, interest, or feeling.
3. Read the statement and identify if the statement has an ERROR or NO ERROR. If
there is an error, use the correct preposition to make the sentence correct. If none,
underline the correct preposition used in the sentence.
4. Example:
