Crop production: At the time of establishment the enterprise farm Land Base
consists of: 38 hectars’ total farmland: all this farm land is used for wheat
production. And for the last five years the farm produced average 14.34 quintal of
wheat per hector per year. And the cattle fattening started with 40 cattle stock
purchased from local markets. On average Four- five months after the date of
purchase, with no Proper housing and equipment, feeding, veterinary and medicine
cost, fattened cattle should weigh approximately 275-300 kilograms and, therefore,
ready for market. Fattened cattle sold to hotel owner, butchers, and for academic
and administrative staffs of the university and local community for holiday.
Common cattle disease was --------- and for the last four years the mortality rate
was on average 5% per year. At the time of establishment farm staff include 2
looking after livestocks.
