3. Pak Atan is a construction worker. He was instructed by his boss to pave the floor of a store
with square tiles. Pak Atan started to pave the floor with three tiles on the first day in the
middle of the floor. The next day, the paved region is enlarged by adding new tiles with
different colour to surround the previous tiles.
Diagram 3 shows the process is on-going until the floor of the store is fully tiled. The
measurement of each tile is 1 m length and 1 m width.

6 Ramesh has a few solid cylinders of various sizes. Diagram 4 shows some of the solid
