Learning Goals
After this activity, the children are able to:
 get to know the community helpers around the community;
 know the job content/description of each community helpers

Learning Materials
 community helper’s photos
 sentence prompters

Learning Activities

1. Talking About Jobs Teachers can ask the children what kind of jobs do their parents do.
“What is your father's job?”
2. Photo Check. The teacher shows pictures of community helpers to the children and introduce
what they do in the community.
3. Can you find them？Flip the card over, with the side without the picture facing up, ask the
children: Where is the bus driver? Can you show me ___? Let the children find the pictures.
