Travel

 How do you normally travel to work (or school)?


I usually travel to the university by bus.
 What’s your favorite way to travel? Why?
My favorite way to travel is by public transport, because it is cheaper.
 What’s your favorite trip? Why?
My favorite trip was to Salinas I enjoyed it a lot and it is one of the most beautiful
beaches. I like it because the food and the accommodation is very good.
Appearance

 What is an important day or festival in your town or city? When is it?


An important festival in my town is the wayusawarmi .It's April 28th.
 Do people change their appearance?
If people change their appearance, they paint their faces and they wear tree
leaves as costumes.
 What do people do on that day?
People do a traditional dance.
 Do they eat special food?
If you eat especially meat from animals such as guanta, sajino among others.

Film and the Arts

 How often do you go to the movies?


I go to the movies sometimes
 How do you usually watch movies? (TV/DVD/the Internet?
I usually watch movies on the internet.
 With whom do you usually watch movies with? (friends/ family/ on your
own) Why?
I often watch movies with my family.Because it is fun and comfortable.
 What was the last movie you saw?
The last movie I saw was kissing booth 2.
 What type of movies do you prefer?(comedies/documentaries/horror/etc)
I like romantic and comedy movies.They are beautiful.
Science

 Which sciences did you study at school?


The sciences that I studied in school are natural sciences and social sciences.
 Which do you like reading about in magazines or watching on TV? Why?
I like to read in magazines because I can read many times to understand the
information.
 How often do you study English at home?
I study English frequently at home
 How many new words in English do you learn a week?
In the week I learn 15 new words in English
 How do you memorize new words (in sentences, with pictures, writing
them down)?
I always memorize new words in sentences and writing.
 Do you ever test yourself? How?
If I take a test and see how many words I have learned and it is very good to do it
because it helps me in learning.

Tourism

 Which type of vacation do you prefer? (a camping trip, a sightseeing tour,


hiking in the mountain, backpacking around the world, a vacation package
by the beach)
I prefer a tourist tour because there are many adventures and we enjoy the
cultural and natural beauties, as well as the interaction that is established
between social groups.
 Which vacations have you done in the past?
I have gone on vacation to Bogota Colombia and Salinas
 Which vacations are you going to do in the future?
I am planning to go on vacation to the Galapagos.
 What advice would you give a tourist if they are visiting your country? Use
should/shouldn’t.

 You must have your own car to be able to travel more comfortably.
 You should not carry a lot of luggage.
 You must choose the places you want to visit in Ecuador through a website
because it is much easier and gives you enough information to get there.
The Earth
What do you know about climate change in the past?
In the past, climate changes were gradual and due to various causes, such as
variations in solar radiation, among others.
What do you know about climate change today?
Climate change in the country persists at high temperatures and low humidity.
Have you ever traveled across the Equator to the other hemisphere? Where did
you go? If not, where would you like to go?
I have not traveled to another hemisphere.But I would like to travel to the Middle
of the World, because it crosses the equatorial line that connects the Northern
Hemisphere with the Southern Hemisphere.
Which measurement do you look at when you:
 buy a carton of orange juice?
test if it works
 watch the weather on TV?
Look with caution
 go on a long journey?
Do not carry a lot of luggage.
 buy fruit or vegetables from the market? pay taxes?
See if they are in good condition.
 build a new house?
Use good materials.
