FIRST STEPS TO USE
FALCON POS SOFTWARE
Spending a few hours a week handling your information, you will save time on work administrative
and you will get to know your business better.
The most important step is to create a routine for the management and registration of all your
information in Falcon POS.
¡Schedule a fixed space a week to enter the data into the system!

1. System login
It is important that you have a user account to safely log in to the system. Below we show you the
procedure for managing your account.
Log in.
Enter your email.
Enter your password.
If you can't remember your password, you can reset it with the option “Remember
password”.
If you want Falcon POS to remember your data, choose the option “remember
credentials”.
If you are not yet a user of Falcon POS go to the option Register.

2. Password recovery
To reset your password just enter your email or username and Falcon POS will send a recovery
email with the corresponding link.
Once you have entered the recovery link you can easily reset your password.

3. User accounts registration
As Administrator you can register the accounts of your employees and establish their
roles. Fill out the form with the information Employee Name, Employee ID, Email
Password, and their respective role. All this data is necessary for user creation.
In the Role option you can configure what information your employee can see.

4. Employee registration
As a system administrator, you can manage the data of the people in the company, Information to
be linked to user accounts.

5. View employee list
Once the employee is registered, you can check the data in the "Employee List" section. A table
will be displayed in which you can see the registered employees.
At the top of the columns you can see different filters to organize the content of the table.
On the right-hand side of the list you will find a group of controls for displaying and deleting
records for each item in the list.

6. Products registration
As a system administrator, you can manage the products that will be part of the sales stock.

7. View products list
Once you registered the product, you will be able to see it in the “Products list Interface”
The Product list is designed by a data grid in which you can see easily all the registered products,
as well as its attributes; also, you can customize your search choosing the filters above the options
column.
In the options column, you can choose the actions: “See product detail” and “Remove Product”.

8. POS (POINT OF SALE)
As a seller, you can automatically generate sales invoices and store them in the system.
To generate a sale, follow the steps:

The product will automatically appear in the list provided by the interface, there, you can see the
attributes of the product, such as: Product ID, Product name, quantity, price, Discounts, taxes and
the possibility to make actions on it .
In the list, the seller can choose and /or remove the product to sell, also (system name) can
calculate automatically the final price according to the values registered before, such as disccounts
and Taxes while the sale is in progress.

The seller user can be choice that payment method choosed by the client, register the received
cash and the money given to the client. So, you can register the bill of sale and write additional
observations.
Later, you can continue the process of sale. You can do it clicking in button “To sell”.
When the process has finished, the information is saved and confirmation the bill of sale. Now,
you can print the bill doing click in “Print” button.

9. Print tickets
When you have clicked in print button, a window is opened with the billing information. The Bill is
ready to print.

10. View billing history
Once you saved the bill of sale, you can consult the history of billing saved in the section “Billing
history”.
A list should be shown, where you can see the generated bills. In the top of the list columns, you
can see different filters to organize the table content.
In the left side of the list, you can found for every row of the list a group of button for view and
edit, print and annullate registered bills.

11. How to install the tools?
For Falcon POS to work properly, it is necessary to download and install the XAMPP application
which contains the tools that will allow server access.
For this, the direct access to XAMPP is executed or the program “xampp-control.exe ”which is
located on the C: or D: disk that you have chosen at the time of installation.

locate the file httpd.conf right click, open with notepad, locate here:

According to the description, modify the port 8080, by which it is free according to your PC
configuration.
C:\xampp\apache\conf\extra\httpd-vhosts.conf
locate the file httpd-vhosts.conf right click, open with notepad and go to the end of the file.

After that, the XAMPP Control Panel Application window is displayed, and in this you must click on
the "Start" buttons of both Apache and MySQL.
With this process the services are already active and it is possible to start working.

If the installation of the tools and the folder was successful, the browser will display the FALCON
POS login page.

11.3. users
The server has three predetermined user accounts, which have their own configuration and access
limits, being the administrator account the only one with the permissions to access all the modules
and functionalities to create users and modify records.

Glossary
Password: Keyword for personal use with which you can access your account. It is essential that
you keep it in a safe place.
User Role: A user role determines what type of access does each employee to perform their tasks.
Credentials: User account information (username and password) with which you can login in
Falcon POS system.
