It is a book that has more to do with the synonyms and
antonyms of words. It also gives the meaning and part of speech of
a word.

What is It
What is a dictionary?
It is a reference material made up of entry words listed in
alphabetical order. Each entry states how words are pronounced
and what the words mean. Since words are arranged
alphabetically, locating words is easy. Two guide words are
printed at the top of each dictionary page.

Entry Words are the words arranged alphabetically with meanings
and pronunciation. We can also find the part of speech of each
word.
Study the sample dictionary pages below and read the details to
understand what the contents are:

What is a thesaurus?

of words. It also gives the meaning and part of speech of a word.
These are samples of a thesaurus page. Try to read the details very
well.

Online sources are found on the Internet. Here the steps you need
to do to find the meaning of words on the Internet.
1. Turn on your computer or laptop and connect to the Internet.
2. Think of a word you want to define or you want to search for.
3. Use Google or Dictionary.com then, type in the word you’re
looking for in the search engine.
4. The search engine will process.
5. The search engine will return the word with definition,
pronunciation, parts of speech.
