Mangrove is a shrub or small tree that grows in coastal saline or brackish water. Mangroves

They contain a complex salt filtration system and complex root system to cope with salt water
immersion and wave action. They are adapted to the low oxygen (anoxic) conditions of waterlogged
mud.
From the sentences above, it seems like mangrove has several variety, but it will explain
later on the following section. Later, it triggered question, “why mangrove are being cultivated and

Product Utilization
So far, the utilization of mangrove is still focused on the tourism sector.
related to the relatively small number and extent of mangrove plants, has not
produced much commodity yet.
Moreover, most of mangrove products are in the form of timber, that can
potentially overexploited which can damage the mangrove conservation cites.
But, there is one kind of mangrove that produce fruit that safe to eat, and can
be processed into syrup. That is Sonneratia Caseolaris (L.) Engl., which
utilization is still in the planning stage.
However, the local people are free to use the mangroves for their household
