Principles of First Aid

1. Rescue the victim as soon as possible to not worsen the situation.
Immediate action is needed to save the life of the victim.
2. If you are knowledgeable of first aid, you should respond immediately.
If you are not, do not try to do something that might cause death.
Instead, call for help.
3. Restore the circulation and respiration immediately.
4. Place the victim in a covered area to reduce shock.
5. Keep calm. Do not panic to avoid improper first aid.
6. If the victim is unconscious, do not give any food/drink.
7. Do not move the person unless you need to place him/her in a
recovery position.
8. Immobilize dislocations and fractures.
