3. Course description:
Review of vector analysis, electrostatic fields, magnetostatic field’s concepts, EMC and EMC
requirements ,signal spectra ,antennas and radiated emissions ,crosstalk and shielding
4. General Course Objectives

On successful completion of this course the student will be able to achieve the following
objectives:
1. introduce the student to Electromagnetic theory
2. apply knowledge of math and physics to engineering
3. To deepen your understanding of Electromagnetic compatibility Theory, building on the
concepts of Electromagnetic theory
4. To increase the problem solving skills for electromagnetic problems that are related to
EMC.
5. To find solutions for EMC problems in engineering

- understanding Electromagnetic Compatability theory and electromagnetic theory
- ability to apply knowledge of math engineering and science
- Ability to use the appropriate state-of-the-art engineering references and resources,
including IEEE research journals and industry publications, needed to find the best
solutions to electrical and communication engineering problems.
