Bar Based Problems

The document contains 9 problems related to determining stresses, strains, elongations, and modulus of elasticity for various bars and rods with different geometries and materials when subjected to axial tensile or compressive loads. The problems involve circular rods, stepped bars, tapered bars, and bars made of different materials like brass. Parameters that need to be calculated from the given information include stress, strain, elongation, safe stress, internal diameter, maximum and minimum stresses, forces necessary for equilibrium, and modulus of elasticity.
