• Mobile Radio Propagation: Large–Scale Path Loss
(Ch.4).
• Mobile Radio Propagation: Small–Scale Fading and
Multipath (Ch.5).
• Multiple Access Techniques for Wireless
Communications (Ch.9).
• The Cellular Concept–System Design Fundamentals
(Ch.3).
• Introduction to equalization and diversity (Ch.7).

Participation, attendance, home works and quizzes: 20 %


Midterm Exam: 30 %
Final Exam: 50 %

1. Cable (wire, coaxial cable and optical fibers)


2. Broadcast (microwave, satellite, radio, and infrared)
