    The Problem

    Statement of the Problem

    This study aims to identify the causes and effects of early teenage pregnancy

    among teenagers. Moreover, the researchers are going to determine the struggles

    faced by the teenager and her coping mechanisms for being a parent at a young age.

    Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:

    1.What are the reasons for a teenager’s early pregnancy?

    2.How did the teenager’s family treat her when they knew about the situation?

    3.What effects have been experienced by the teenager for being a parent at an

    early age?

    4.What were some of the challenges faced by the teenager for being a parent at

    a young age?

    5.How did the teenager cope with the difficulties of raising a child at a young

    age?

    Note: for the purpose of consistency, the use of “her” in the second sentence of the

    general problem statement should be changed. Isn’t question 2 going to be under

    question 3?

    Scope and Limitations

    The researchers intend to use a semi-structured interview where the researchers

    could ask some questions that would be answered by the participant. After the

    researcher’s (Why is there an apostrophe here?) got the answer from the questions(Do

    you get an answer FROM the questions?), the researchers will now then analyze the
    answers that were given by the participants. This study limits the age of the participants

    from ages 16 to 19 years. The researchers will also make use of the personal

    experiences which includes how their family treated them and effects that relate to the

    causes and effects of the teenager’s early pregnancy

    Note: There are still missing points in this section. Also, learn to observe coherence

    when you create your paragraph. Do not make the ideas jump from one to another

    when you have sentences placed in the same paragraph.

    Significance of the Study

    The result of the study will then be beneficial to the following persons:

    Teenagers. They would gain awareness in preventing the (remove the article)

    early pregnancy. So that they would prevent those things from happening within

    themselves(A dependent clause cannot stand as a sentence.).

    Parents/Guardian(Should you not make both agree in number?). They could

    gain insight about their situation and be aware of their responsibilities as a parent(This

    does not agree with the number.). By that, the parents or guardians would be taking

    some actions that would make them teach or give their children a lesson to avoid being

    pregnant in (this is not the right preposition) an early age.

    Future Researchers. They could use this study as a future reference, should

    they decide to make a similar understanding.(The comma is wrongly used and the last

    word of this sentence is surely not the right one.)
