don’t think anybody can talk meaningfully about one without talking about the

world’s richest man. In today’s world, you could not talk about information technology without
clinging it to business. Our world’s most renowned billionaires made their way through the top
by the help of processing information and applying their knowledge to build a new technology.
A series of technological developments that favored them as technopreneurs as well as its users.
Information technology is built around us, we would not even notice some instances that I.T.
helps us but let me tell you how it helps improve our daily lives and achieve our short

became a necessity for people. Over the last decade, the automobile industries have experienced
technological revolution as a young and talented man from South Africa came up with the idea
of electric cars. Elon Musk is one of the greatest advocates of technological advancement that
would help sustain humanity. As the CEO of Tesla Motors, Musk had been very clear about his
ambition to produce cheap solar-powered cars that would reach a lot, if not all people

ey Google, a casual phrase we have to say for this home appliance called Google
Home. It is a technology developed by Google LLC - A technological company
known for how it processes data and information for the benefit of their users. Google is one of
the companies that takes information processing to a different level, and now they are producing
these AI devices for the improvement of Home Appliances, and where do they get these
awesome inventions? Information. Information from the users were used for them come up with
the “big idea”. The big idea that comes across the globe to improve the lives of the people at the
comfort of their home. (3)

E ducation is one of the keys to success. A lot of technological improvements have been
made to help students and educators have a convenient way of learning. Information
technology had expanded the access to education by providing a lot of books, images,

videos, audios, and other essential references that would enable educators and students to
empower themselves with the knowledge that is all over the Internet. Modern technology has
also introduced online learning or free online courses by different platforms such as Coursera,
Khan Academy, edX, and other websites that focuses on giving world-class quality of education
around the world for free. (4)
ife, our greatest gift. Life is the most important thing that makes us long for improvement. For us
to protect life, we must consider improving our health industry. But, say no more. Over the last
decades, Information technology had also taken over our healthcare industry. It is the driving
force behind huge improvements in our modern healthcare services. Starting from different
equipment, automation of the work procedures done in almost every hospital, and
pharmaceutical advancement. This triad of improvements contribute to patient care and increases
the quality of life that humans have. As it brings comfort to the patients, it has also enabled
doctors or other medical practitioners to use text messages, videos, and e-mails to consult
colleagues from all over the world, which is especially beneficial to patients and doctors that live
in rural and under-developed areas.

P eople uses communication tools to connect with their loved ones, colleagues, and
other people on a day to day basis. Social Media is also a product of Information
Technology, and it is also one of the most important technological advancement that
had been developed over the last decades. These modern technological tools have helped the
users to eliminate the barriers such us distance, time, language, etc. that hinders an efficient flow
of communication between the transmitter and the receiver. Communication advancement had
been beneficial not just for our personal relationships but also for education and
business platforms.
S ome would say that these technological advancements endanger the lifestyle of its
users. They are afraid that AI technology would take over the works of many,
endangering job opportunities for humans. Well, that is not true. AI technology are built as an
aid to human, they were not made to replace humans but rather to aid us and improve the
efficiency of our works. Humans still have the one thing that differentiates them to any other
entity, rational thinking. AI robots are just designed to automate the work that humans
commonly do every day. The rational decisioning is still the responsibility of us humans. Some
also expresses their concerns about how children would not learn to communicate properly or in
person because of the overuse of these new technologies. Also, some have concerns that these
technological advancements would create a generation full of lazy people. Because they have the
notion that the new generations would just depend to these smart devices for their daily living.
Well, they are not entirely wrong on the last two cases, Information technology just like any
other helpful things around us needs discipline for regulation and responsible usage.
Technological advancements were built to help us, let us not let these ruin us and remove the true
essence of life from us.
