ZXSDR B8200 Hardware
The ZXSDR B8200 is a baseband unit designed on the basis of the MicroTCA architecture. MicroTCA, also known as μTCA, is based on the PICMG standard. It originates
from ATCA and improves upon ATCA. Compared with ATCA, the MicroTCA architecture is smaller in size, lower in costs, and more flexible. Thus MicroTCA is more suitable
for devices at the base station side.
In accordance with the MicroTCA specification, the ZXSDR B8200 modules have two height types: full height (Double Modules) and half height (Single Module). For the
definitions of full height and half height in the MicroTCA specification and the corresponding boards/modules, refer to Table 1.

Note:
The ZXSDR B8200 contains the control and clock board, fiber switch board, baseband processing board, site alarm board, site alarm extension board (optional), universal
Ethernet switch board (optional), tower-mounted amplifier control module (optional), power module, and fan module. For the board/module list, refer to Table 2.
