1. An act establishing the National Service Training Program (NSTP)


for Tertiary Level Students, amending for the purpose Republic
Act 7077 and Presidential Decree No. 1706.

5. An act providing for the development, administration,


organization, training maintenance and utilization of Citizen
Armed Forces of the Philippines.
6. Compulsory Training of not less than thirty days but not more
than sixty days for individual reservist or reserve unit in a
given year preferably to 1st category.

Voluntary Training subject to the capability of the AFP to


provide the training

7. Ready Reserve- subject to call at any time to augment the


regular armed force of the AFP not only in times of war or
national emergency but also of assisting from calamities,
disasters and threats to peace, order, security and stability to
any locality including the need to provide assistance in relief and
rescue work.

Standby Reserve – belonging to the Second and Third category


Reserves that can be mobilized or ordered to active duty only in
times of war or emergency.

Retired Reserve - provided qualified and fir for duty may be


ordered to active duty in times of local or national emergencies.

8. Graduates of the ROTC program component are organized into the


Citizen Armed Force, while graduates of the LTS and CWTS
program components are organized into the National Service
Reserve Corps (NSRC) administered by the Department of National
Defense, the Commission on Higher Education and Technical
Education and Skills Development Authority.
9. *Graduates of ROTC courses and were issued orders as ER or
Reserved Officers of Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

*Graduates of authorized basic Mil Training Instruction and were


issued orders as ER.

*Ex- servicemen/ Retired Officers of AFP who were honorably


discharged from the service.

*Recognized WWII guerrillas who were honorably discharged


from the service.

*Commissioned and Non Commissioned Officers (NCO) under the


affiliated Reservist Category and graduates of the NDCP
(National Defense College of the Philippines).

*Commissioned, Non Commissioned Officers (NCO) and Privates


under the existing laws including those procured under Project
36-70 & included in the present AFP roster before the
enactment of this Act & those to be commissioned or enlisted
after the enactment.

10. At least three hundred fifty (350) cadet students
