CLAP SWITCH Validationboard

The document describes a clap switch, which is a device that uses claps to close an external circuit. It contains a low pass filter, clock, memory register, and relay connected to an AC circuit. The clap switch can be used to conveniently control AC appliances with a clap, making it especially useful for elderly and disabled people who find simple tasks difficult or exhausting. It will be prototyped using common electrical components and tested by having users clap to activate the sensor.

CLAP SWITCH

INTRODUCTION
 A clap switch is a device that uses claps made by a human to turn close a
external circuit connected on the device. It is composed of a low pass
filter to filter out most noise from the environment, a clock to continually
monitor if there is a clap in a given instant, a memory register to keep
track the state of the relay. And a relay that is connected to an external
AC circuit to control the switch built in that be controlled by energizing the
magnetic coil inside.

DEFINE The problem is being old and disabled makes simple task
more demanding because its either too exhausting for the
elders or the task is too much difficult because of their
disability.

IDEATE The clap switch can be used on wide array of AC

appliances. This is especially useful to the elderly and to
PWD that are able to clap. Clapping takes less effort and
energy than standing up putting the lights off therefore
making a a difficult task to a convenient one.
