Server 2

Product description: HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 4110 2.1GHz 8-core 1P 16GB-R P408i-a

Product number:         P06453-B21
Serial number:            CZJ92204P1
Issue:                         Informational Alert regarding the “ hardware_raid_cache”

Solution:       The server HDDs are not configured using RAID Mode of Smart array
Controller but using the HBA mode. The hardware RAID controller
>> Cache Status will remain in Not Configured state. This feature is
by design and message is informational as HBA does not support cache.
Hence, no action is required. All the other servers configured in similar
way, shall have the same Informational Alert.

Logs Analysis by HPE support: From hardware perspective, we do not see any hardware
failure. There is no RAID configured. It is blank. We have checked the array report and
RAID BIOS screenshots, and found no error in the report.

There is no cache configured, since no RAID configured. Cache is available only in the
RAID mode of the Smart Array controller.
