    PERTINENT DATA TO BE INCLUDED IN APPRAISAL REPORT

    In the appraisal of machinery and equipment, the ensuring report shall contain the technical
    description of the equipment showing among others the following:

    ▪ Complete name abd brand


    ▪ Country of origin
    ▪ Model
    ▪ Type
    ▪ Catalogue number
    ▪ Capacity
    ▪ Power requirement and/or fuel consumption
    ▪ Serial number or any identifying marks
    ▪ Color of the body
    ▪ Physical condition of the machine
    ▪ Replacement cost
    ▪ Estimated appraised value

    On the other hand, in the qappraisal or transportation equipment, the report must show the
    following:

    ▪ Type, brand name and year model


    ▪ Description of engine, cab and hobby
    ▪ Chassis and engine serial numbers
    ▪ License plate number
    ▪ Registered owner
    ▪ Physical condition
    ▪ Replacement cost and appraised value

    PROCEDURES IN VALUATION OF MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT

    The procedure in the valuation of machinery and equipment including transportation vehicles
    must observe the following steps:

    ▪ Establish ownership
    ▪ Inspect and verify the documents submitted to you
    ▪ Check present price with indentors, dealers, suppliers, traders, technical bulletin and
    publication
    ▪ Estimate the replacement cost
    ▪ Estimate the accrued depreciation
    ▪ Come up with the value using the above information as basis
