When we go shopping, we get a plastic bag to carry in the items we buy. When we go to a
friend’s or relative’s house, and we want to give him / her items, we use a plastic bag to carry
them. In fact, plastic bags are really needed. However, they are dangerous for the environment.
Firstly, plastic bags need along tine to decompose. Plastics bags take ap to 1000 years to
decompose on land and 450 years in the water.
Secondly, people use up natural resources to make the plastic bags. The most common plastic
bags you see today are made of polyethylene. This material is made of crude oil and natural
gas.
Moreover, they harm wildlife and marine life. Plastic bags are now ubiquitous in our
environment, and animals both on land and in water are being strangled choked and killed by
them. Plastic bags are now the fifth most common debris item found on beaches.
Plastic bags are also dangerous for our health. Based on the results of the research by Drugs
and Food Control, coloured plastic bags are very dangerous for health if we use them to keep
food. This is because coloured plastic bags are recycled products, and the previous history is
not known. They may have been used to carry in pesticide containers, hospital waste, heavy
metals waste and so forth. Long – term consequences of the use of theses plastic bags can lead
to various diseases such as cancer, kidney disorders and others.
Based on the facts, plastic bags should not be used anymore. There are several alternatives

Little Molly lived in a small beautiful town. Her tiny house was constructed on the banks of a
beautiful river, near a mountain. She was the only daughter for her parents. Although they
weren’t very rich, they lived happily.
Molly did not like her house very much. She fell that the house was too small and not very
neat. She liked the house on top of the mountain because of the glittering golden windows.
The window sparkled and glazed so beautifully that little Molly was completely mesmerized.
She went crazy for that the glittering golden windows and started to hate her home more.
However, little Molly was so sweet and she understood the struggles her family was
undergoing. So she accepted everything silently, still her desire went on growing.
Years passed by and she grew up quickly. She became 12 years and looked very beautiful like
a golden princess. She believed that she was supposed to live in a house with golden windows,
not in an old wooden house.
As she grew older, her mom allowed her to move around her house. It was a holiday and she
decided to climb the mountain and peek into the house with the golden window. With so many
struggles, she reached the top of the mountain.
She stood in front of the house and saw the dirties house, in fact the damaged castle with dark
windows. The golden window she saw were in fact the reflection of the dark and dirty
windows. Suddenly, she looked at her home. A window in hers was shining like gold. She
realized that the sun rays reflected in the water made the window glow. The truth was she
lived in her dream home, the home with beautiful golden windows.
The stone in Batu Cermin Cave contains salt particles causing the stone sparkles when it is
exposed to the light. To enjoy the gleaming stone, tourists need to go to 20 meters deep with a
narrow tunnel along 200 meters. In a rainy season, visitors can also enjoy the glowing puddle
of water in the cave.
Batu Cermin Cave also has stalactites and stalagmites. It also offers views of fossil corals,
turtles and tortoises in the cave wall. The fossils also contain salt particles. The fossil scenery
looks very clearly.
There are white long rock formations which close to the incoming sunlight. This cave is also
enlivened by the presence of the animal such as bats, spiders, and crickets.
The low sunlight in the cave causes the cave quite humid. Therefore, a tour is limited only10
participants only for 30 minutes. Then, they should alternate with the other visitors. The
visitors must not touch the stones in the cave because if it is touched human hands, it will
loose salt particles not sparkle again.
Squirrels are nimble, bushy-tailed rodents found all over the world. They belong t the sciuridae
family, which includes chipmunks and marmots.
There are more than 200 species of squirrels, according to the integrated Taxonomic
information system (IT IS), and they are categorized into three types: tree squirrels, ground
squirrels and flying squirrels. These three categories are further broken down into many
squirrel types, such as Albino, Mountain tree, Antelope, Spotted, Grey, American Fled,
Douglas, Fox, Pygmy, Northern Flying, Southern, Arizona Gray, Idaho, Arctic Ground,
Albert’s, Franklin, Richardson, Flock, White and Black squirrel.
Since there are so many types of squirrels, they range greatly in size. The smallest squirrel is
the African pygmy squirrel. It grows to 2.8 to 5 inches (7 to 13 centimeters) lopng and weighs
just 0,35 ounces (10 grams). The Indian giant squirrels is the world’s largest known squirrel. It
grows to 36 inches (1 meter) long and weighs up to 4 pounds (1.8 kilograms)
The squirrels typically live in wooded areas, since they prefer to live in trees. Ground Squirrels
live up to their names. They dig burrows, a system of tunnels underground, to live in. A few
squirrels also hibernate in burrows during the winter to keep warm.
Flying squirrels make their homes in tree holes or nests that are built into the crooks of
branches. To get from tree to tree or from a tree to the ground, flying squirrels spread the
muscle membrane between their legs and body, and glide on the air. They can glide up to 160
feet (48 m), making it look like they can fly

A cactus (plural: cacti) is any member of the plant family Cactaceae, native to the Americas.
They are often used as ornamental plants, but some are also crop plants. Cacti are grown for
protection of property from wild animals, as well as many other uses.
Cacti are part of the plant order Caryophyllales, which also include members like beets,
gypsophila, spinach, amaranth, tumbleweeds, carnations, rhubarb, buckwheat, plumbago,
bougainvillea, chickweed and knotgrass.
Cacti are unusual and distinctive plants, which are adapted to extremely arid and hot
environments, showing a wide range of anatomical and physiological features which
conserve water. Their stems have adapted to become photosynthetic and succulent, while the
leaves have become the spines for which cacti are well known.
Cacti come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. The tallest is Pachycereus pringlei, with
a maximum recorded height of 19.2 m, and the smallest is Blossfeldia liliputiana, only about
1 cm in diameter at maturity. Cactus flowers are large, and like the spines and branches arise
from areoles. Many cactus species are night blooming, as they are pollinated by nocturnal
insects or small animals, principally moths and bats. Cacti range in size from small and
globular to tall and columnar
Biodiesel is a clean burning substitute for petroleum based diesel fuel. Biodiesel
is made of vegetable oil.
To make or manufacture Biodiesel, you must first start with raw materials. The
raw materials needed in the production of Biodiesel are a small amount of methanol
and a ready supply of vegetable product. One of the most common vegetables used in
the production of Biodiesel is corn, although depending on the geographic location of
the manufacturing facility many other plants are used as well (rapeseed, soybeans,
flaxseed, etc.). The first step is to use the raw vegetable product to make vegetable oil.
Vegetable oil by itself will not be what you need to power a car, from here it has to be
processed into Biodiesel.
The process for converting vegetable oil into Biodiesel is sometimes called ester
interchange. To complete this process the vegetable oil has to be combined with a
smaller amount of methanol and then put in the presence of a small quantity of an
alkaline catalyst (for example, 5% to 1% sodium hydroxide). Vegetable oil is made up
of so-called triglycerides, which is a compound of the trivalent alcohol glycerin with
three fatty acids. The goal of ester interchange is to separate the glycerin molecule 30. T
from the three fatty acids and replace it with three methanol molecules. This process h
then yields roughly 90% Biodiesel and 10% of a glycerin byproduct. The glycerin e
byproduct can be used in a number of other chemical processes for different
industries.
