DCF10 Brake Module Manual - r1 - en

The brake control module DCF10 is a rectifier and voltage switch device that provides an initial overexcitation voltage and then switches to a holding voltage to power DC electro-brakes. It rectifies the input voltage initially in full-wave and then in half-wave. The overexcitation time of 1 to 2 seconds can be modified or disabled using an integrated DIP switch. It has inputs for 80-300VAC power and DC outputs of 3A maximum for operating electro-brakes.

Brake Control Module DCF10 DC84501Q01 Brake Control Device DCF10 Rev.

1 10/05/2014

Application
The brake control module DCF is a rectifier and
voltage switch device developed to power DC
electro-brakes.

This device provides an initial overexcitation

voltage and after a adjustable time, between 1 and
2 sec, can switch to a holding voltage. This is
achieved rectifying the input voltage initially in full-
wave and, sometime later, in half-wave.

The SDC connection is a DC-side disconnection

bridge for a shorter brake acting time.

The switching power of the contact must be consistent with the brake current.

It is recommended a minimum cross section of 0.75mm 2 for the input and

output voltage as well as the SDC contact.
