This is our original circuit design, for a single side of a pair of headphones. First
we have a potentiometer setup in a voltage divider with the input source for volume
adjustment. We then have the potentiometer leading into a unity gain buffer to add in a
transition between the voltage divider and low pass filter. Next is our low pass filter,
which contains a resistor with a value of 1061 Ohms, and a capacitor with a value of
0.1uF. Plugging these into the equation (1/2piRC) will give you the desired high corner
frequency of about 15000 Hz. Next we have the low pass filter running into a unity gain
buffer to again, avoid any currents and voltages effected the filters. Next we have a
High pass filter consisting of a 1uF capacitor and a 1560 ohm resistor which is then run
through a non-inverting amplifier with a gain of 20. The high pass filter using the
capacitor and resistor values mentioned will give the desired low corner frequency of
100 Hz. Finally, we have the amplifier with a resistor of 19kohms and 1kohm, to create
a gain of 20 with the equation (1+R2/R1). This leads us to our output through one
earphone. Doubling this circuit will give us both earphones.

Here is the final circuit which we designed and tested values through a program called I
Circuit.

Here are our plots for the separate earphones. Both of them being very close to what
the values should be at.

Here is what the output looked like on the oscilloscope. Our yellow wave is our
input, the green wave is our left ear output, and the blue wave is our right ear output.
We have both sides set at maximum volume.
Here we have the same outputs only both of the sides are at random/mid
volumes.

And finally here we have both the volumes set at the absolute minimum.
Overall, our stereo amplifier did work in the end. We had some struggles getting
there such as small math mistakes, circuit mistakes and lack of supplies. When
demoing our design, our voltages were very slightly off. One example was that at 7000
Hz, we took the voltage divided by square root of 2, and compared it to our corner
frequencies. The desired Voltage was 3.13, and our voltages were around 3.8 and 3.6.
Very close, but not quite there.
