068-Equilibrium Relationship Chart - 2

This document provides instructions for using a chart to determine the equilibrium relationship between water content, bed temperature, and dewpoint for a desiccant dryer. The chart allows you to locate lines based on the inlet air dewpoint and temperature, compressor cooling water temperature, and outlet air temperature to determine the equilibrium water load and lowest attainable dewpoint. An example is provided where the inlet dewpoint is 114°F, inlet temperature is 305°F, equilibrium water load is 0.6%, outlet temperature is 95°F, and the lowest attainable dewpoint is -29°F.
