    Listening is the ability to accurately receive and interpret messages in the
    communication. Listening is key to all effective communication. In other mean,
    Listening skill is one of the most important skill that we should have.

    In my opinion there are listening teaching strategies we can use :

    1.Use a short movie or video without subtitles

    This strategy is the most commonly strategy that people do. When we watch the movie
    without subtitles we will trying to understand what the speaker are saying so we will
    listen to it. But if we think that the movies too fast we can slow the speed of the movie.

    2.Dictation

    Dictation also can be our strategy, but sometimes it is hard to understand the speaker
    when they don’t have a good pronunciation, but it could be possible if we are wonted
    with the word they are said.

    3.Listening Lab

    Listening lab is very important to improve the Listening skill. In the listening lab we
    can talk to each other and also listen what they say. It is a lab that every university
    should have.

    In my opinion if we want to improve our Listening skill we have to always trying


    and trying. A good facility and strategy will help us to improve our listening skill, so I
    hope someday Listening lesson should be facilitated with a technology such as
    Listening lab, Headphone, computer and also professional lecture, as we know that
    there no even listening lab in English Department ,so the facility are very incomplete. I
    hope that we can fix this problem if we want to make English Department better.

    For the score of this lesson I think you can give me “A”. I think I was good in
    listening lesson. And I never come late or even absent so i will be glad if you give me
    that score with pleasure.
