Executive Overview

Anandam Manufacturing Company was established in 2012 in the


g a r m e n t manufacturing sector. The founder of the Anandam Manufacturing Company is
Anand Agrawalan engineer in local garment industry with almost 12 years work experienced.
The company wasstarted their business with INR 1.2 million capital and INR 0.736
million of mortgage loan tomortgage the INR 1.9million of the fixed assets. The
Indian textile market have a growth approximately 14.58 percent for the past three year, by
expanding in the demand of this industry.Anand Agrawal keep continued borrowing the money
from the bank to fund their business in thesubsequent year.
Anandam Manufacturing Company company need an additional financing of INR
50million minimum to continue with smooth operations and to expand its business. In order
to getan INR 50 million, Anand Agrawal already submitted the details of Anandam Company
proposaland project report to the bank, and he attached with the financial
statements of Anandamprevious years. In order to measure or to make a decision either the
proposal can be accepted ornot we should do a several process. The process that undertaken in
order to made decision eitherthe loan proposal should be accepted or not is by using “Financial
Statement Analysis”.In this process, we will test the Anandam Manufacturing Company
Financial Statementthat consist of Income Statement & Balance Sheet for three years from
2012-13 until 2014-15.The tes t on the financial s tatement is by us ing “Ratio
A nalys is ”, “Trend A nalys is ” and “Common-Size Analysis. “Trend Analysis” trend
analysis is an analyst is analyze the percentageon the dollar change in the Income Statement
and Balance Sheet Statement by comparing thecomparison year to the based year.
“Common-size analysis” is also known as vertical analysis.The common-size analysis on
income statement is an analysis where the analyst stating the income statements item
in the percent of net sales. While, on balance sheet statement analyst stating the balance
sheet item in as a percent of total assets.
