NOTE ON METHODOLOGY: For statistical purposes, tourist is considered to be any person, regardless
of age or gender, who outside of their permanent place of residence spends at least one night in an
accomodation facility. Day excursionists are not considered as tourist. Foreign tourist is every person
with permanent residence outside of the Republic of Croatia who temporarily resides in the Republic
of Croatia and spends at least one night in a hotel or some other accommodation facility.
