Guidelines:

The presentation should consist of a maximum of 20 slides. Try to avoid packing too much
into each slide. The evaluation will be based on the presentation, content of the
presentation deck, the background work done and class feedback. Each team will get 20
minutes maximum to make their presentation.

Assignment:

Developing an IMC Strategy for a real-life brand.

Pick a brand that is less written about [avoid Nike, Apple, Dove, Coke, Titan etc]. Some
suggested brands to work on : in B2C – Ruchi Pickles, Boat Headphones, Jade Blue, Aer Air
Purifier, Wipro SmartWash, Nippon Paint, Enerzal ; in B2B - Zoho, Mastek, Galaxy
Surfactants, Hindu Business Line .

Define a marketing objective and strategy.

Do a buyer behavior immersion to get an understanding of the buyer behavior.

Analyze the competition, market environment etc.

Analyze the brand’s current IMC Strategy.

Build a renewed IMC Strategy for the brand covering all the aspects of IMC [6Ms etc].
Develop a communication strategy and some thought starters for your ad or DM or Event
agency
