Conference Program

This document provides the program for a conference titled "Christian Russia in the Making" held on January 30-31, 2020 in Warsaw, Poland. The conference was organized by several Polish and international academic institutions and focused on the theme of the formation and development of Christianity in early Rus'. The program included 8 panels over the two days with topics like the history of the church in Rus', Slavic Orthodoxy, source studies of Cyrillic texts, architecture, and figures from Rus' history. There were over 50 presentations by scholars from Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries. The goal of the conference was to continue the scholarly work of the late Professor Andrzej Poppe on the world of the early Slavs and emergence of Christianity
