proven record, evidence, and facts to be believed. Because credible claims must have reliable
sources of information and it must be unbiased. The validity and rationality are necessary while
claiming information. According to textbook of Moore & Parker (2017), claim is a statement that
may be true or false because claims have values and need scrutiny to determine its worth.
While evaluation claim credibility, we must ensure reliable source of information. The claims
made by experts because they have facts and knowledge to ensure authenticity and reliability of
information. The background information must be met with observations to justify our beliefs.
For example, healthcare administrators want to reduce errors in healthcare decisions and they use
expert review by analyzing expert peer-reviewed journal articles and some expert’s speech to
make sure efficiency in healthcare administration. The example reveals the importance of expert
evidence which can be used a credible source of information to made decisions. The critical
thinkers alert themselves because their observations are infallible and still needs best source of
information. A conflict in observations threatens the credibility of claim. Thus, I must say that
claims should have rationale and proven evidence before augmenting claims.
