SMALL HALL ROOF: You will note that last week I mentioned that we had a good financial year, due
mainly to savings found in our salary budget. Unexpectedly, we had to replace the roof on the
“small hall” as we call it. Our surplus was more than depleted in that the repair was over
$27,000.00.
The Property and Finance committee discussed the great support of the parishioners when w hen
we replaced the roof on the large hall a few years ago. We are bold enough to appeal again. If you
can see your way to make
make a special donation to this expense, we invite you to do so by special
en velope. Every donation, large or small, can assist the parish.
I put my pocket change aside each night and save for special purchases.
purchases. Now would be a good time
to start rolling those coins.
Please mark your donations “Roof Fund” if possible. Let’s collectively
collectively empty our pockets until
Easter and see how much we can raise in the containers at the church entrance
