FOREIGN LITERATURE
Electricity Literature
It was identified the components needed for the realization of the projects such as

generators, batteries, controllers and wires were the components of the self-sustaining power

generator. The conceptualization of the design has been done by using the selection process of

the components depending also the needed flow of the project while the concepts behind every

components. (Destreza, 2014)

This literature is obviously related in our machine because we’ll be needing electricity

throughout in the making and actual presentation of the machine.it electricity is needed in order

for our machine to work.

Lotteries

Lotteries has become a place for those people who are relying their fate with the help of

this lucky machine. Germany by name has the most lottery winners, with a staggering 45.7%. As

it's still a newbie that equals to 16 jackpot winners. In second place is Finland with 10 jackpot

winners (28%), followed by Denmark and Slovenia. It helps people in a way that they don’t need

any exaggerated efforts to become wealthy. (George Washington 1732–1799) This only shows

that unemployed and employed citizens is also measuring how lucky can they be. Besides of the

salary they can get from their jobs, people are also finding other way to have money.

The literature is all about how lotteries helps people in this generation. It gives us the

idea of making our machine more useful like the original lottery machine. It also helps us in

terms of calculating how usable it can be.

Energy Literature

Efficiency is a cost effective means of ensuring energy security by minimizing the

unit resource input. Efficiency can be subdivided into parts namely economic and energy

efficiency. Efficiency is the measure of improvement performance or increased development of

more efficiency equipment and conservation. (Brown, 2010)

In our study, energy efficiency will be very important because it will be on of the factors

that is our resources in the study and we will need to make sure that energy will be efficient

throughout our work.

Shuffle Literature

Montfort, Husárová (2012) discuss several shuffle literature works, focusing on five of

them. These, formally, consist of text segments that may be read in any order. Materially, they

consist of separate sheets, cards, or in one case pamphlets that are presented in some container

but are not bound together. Shuffle literature of this sort does not challenge the idea of text that

can be read completely; a reader is still supposed to read every word of text, as with a typical

book. (This may not happen in either case, but it is the supposition.) These works do, however,

either explicitly ask or implicitly invite the reader to shuffle the segments of text into an arbitrary

order.

We include this literature because shuffling or randomizing is one of the works of our

machine, in which it will randomly pick the things inside one by one.

It is related to our study, because we will be making a machine which is the Q & Name

Randomizer that will be used for educational purposes. This will help for it will give us ideas on

how to make our machine functional and easy to use.

Technology Literature

Nowadays, we are living in a world that everything exist makes our life easier.

Technologies, upgrade and change rapid and it will last for long time. At the moment, folks is

still using the most useful and informative matter in searching significant things. Internet is the

best way in exploring matters, and currently numerous are exploiting it by the use of technology.

Business, government, organizations, companies are the usual users of internet. Reasons why

people uses technology is because it will provide and suggest sites that you can assure you will

not victim by some people who are untrusted. (Oleivera,N.D)

Technology is science or knowledge put into practical use to solve problems or invent

useful tools. It is connected to our machine because it serves a variety of functions in many of

the most important aspects of modern society, like education, communication, scientific

problems.

Wind Forecasting

In modern power systems integration of wind energy has become one of the key issue.

Wind energy is the most promising energy in the present day world. In now a days wind energy

is fast growing am all the renewable energy sources. The chaotic behavior of wind is great

challenge to the stability and reliability of power system. Wind power forecast is helpful for unit

commitment, power system operations and economic dispatch. Wind forecast depends on several

factors like temperature, humidity, direction of wind etc. Increasing wind energy penetrations in

power systems creating a great challenge to its operation. Nature of wind makes its prediction

difficult and advanced forecasting methods like ANEMOS are giving platform for wind speed

prediction. Wind forecasting is important for power system reliability and it reduce the cost of

power system we deal with variable output generation (Wilson, 2013)

This literature is related to our study because the machine will be using wind in order to

randomize the things inside it.

Electric Wires Literature

Electrical power flows in the form of current, which must pass through the equipment

and then return to the power source. Therefore, it is convenient to thin one wire to the load being

the source wire and one being the return wire. This simple model is appropriate for DC systems

but does not work for an AC system because the flow of the power is continually reversing

direction. (Bulosan, 1987).

Randomization Literature

We searched nine electronic databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about

care at the end of life and found 23 RCTs. We assessed their quality using the criteria of the

Cochrane Collaboration. The RCTs researched three themes: (a) the effect of providing palliative

care through dedicated community teams on quality of life, on the management of symptoms, on

satisfaction with care, on the duration of the palliative period, and on place of death; (b) the

effects of specific palliative care interventions-advanced planning of care for the end of life,

patient-held records, providing quality-of-life data to patients and physicians, grief education for

relatives, palliative care education for nurses, and palliative care for patients with dementia; and

(c) the costs of palliative compared to conventional care. We identify difficulties in conducting

research on palliative care and solutions and discuss future possible research themes. (Thomas&

Aging, 2005)

It is connected to our research because randomization is an experiment means random

because they are employed in poor-quality jobs that pay less than what their counterparts in

manufacturing industries get. This is why many Filipino citizens depends on lotteries,

This literature is related to our study in such a way that it can make a different path in a

person’s life. It can make a huge revision especially to those people who are hopeful and

determined to have a change in their status. Our main purpose is to have a machine that will take

over your decisions in life that can be useful in a very simple way.

Learning with the help of Technology

Technological advances had greatly changed the education landscape in that teaching is

no longer confined to the traditional face-to-face delivery of lessons. Now, students can also

learn outside the classroom via the Internet. Through the convergence of traditional and modern

methods, students get to experience the best of both worlds – they can be tutored in school and

get additional lessons through the Web. (Espinosa, 2016)
