1 Course Objectives: To revise the portion covered in the previous modules, strengthen the language of the students both in
oral & written and give more specific orientation in communication and culture.

2 Prerequisites:
Functional knowledge of level-8 of French Language
3 Student Learning Outcomes:
The students will able to converse, read and write effectively in French, express their needs and desires, identify
and use nouns formed from verbs, recognize and actively use ‘colourful’ French idiomatic expressions, name and
describe famous aspects of French culture, French artists and their works and museums of Paris.

4 Module I - Memories of a meeting 25%


I’ve seen you before – Description of a meeting in the past
Description of events in the past (Passé Composé', 'Imparfait', 'Passé Récent) and in present
Opinions on the tram - Describing actions at different times in the past using ‘plus-que-parfait’ tense
Formation and conjugation of 'Plus-que-parfait' with 'Avoir' and ‘Être’
A visit to the University Campus – Text with nominalization of action words
