Tests can be purchased at Furuno Danmark A/S [email protected] Felcom 15-16 must have 3.08 or 5.02 version (Felcom 16 need PC to check). 1 Selftest (F7-7-3) (Dianostic test) OKING Hold CTRL type FELCOM (Read software version) 3.08/5.02 2 PV TEST (F7-7-1) (PVTEST) OKING STATUS MONITOR SCREEN 3 CIN is OK (App. 42 dB) OKING 4 Position data is correct OKING 5 Choose the BEST Ocean Region for the actual position. (F7-Options - 5 Ocean Region) 6 MES Status is IDLE OKING 7 GPS Status is 2D or 3D OK/NG 8 Data Reporting must be OFF (F5-1) OK/NG Approx. 15-30 min after Conformance test has started, check that Test provider Pole Star (or another test company), has downloaded a DNID (F5 Reports - 3 Data Network ID-Asterix when active). If not contact the person who initiated the conformance test. PLS CHECK ABOVE. IF ALL IS OK, PLS INITIATE A NEW TEST AND PUT A LABEL ON FELCOM 15 "UNDER TEST - DO NOT TOUCH’ Note: Items which can disrupt a test - ( Duration up to 48 Hours) 1 Physically obstructions of free sight between antenna - satellite. 2 Auto Change of Ocean Region (Downloading of data for new Ocean Region Satellite will take place). 3 For GMDSS Equipment . (Reception of EGC messages has priority to LRIT data reporting). (VMS - Fishing Vessel Monitoring System must NOT be activated)
