ACTIVITY SHEET 4
Filipinos are resilient people and can easily adjust to the tragic situation. Like what we
are experiencing right now, most of the businesses we know are still paralyzed but what I admire
of is every one of us has this entrepreneurial mind set, we are flexible and goal driven. Most of
them were engaged in E-commerce industry and all are into what we called online business.
With this, you are task to have an online interview an entrepreneur you know who engaged in
online business. Be guided by the following questions.
Note: Please attach a proof or evidence that you conducted an online interview. It can be a photo
or a clip of video. Summarized the information that you gathered from your interviewee. Include
a paragraph wherein you will talk about what you have learned from the interview. (Use separate
sheet if possible)
According to him, he owns a Clothing business. He chose this business because he loves
fashion. He chose online selling for as of the moment he still don’t have a physical store and it is
more convenient due to the pandemic. While selling online, his main problem is having a poor
connection especially that we are here in the Philippines wherein internet connection is really a
headache. For him, as a young entrepreneur you need to follow the trend for you to be able to
outsell your products. Having patience and dedication are also something you need to survive
your said business. He also said that having a clothing stall and hiring people is the opportunity
he can foresee to make his business grow. He recommended that if you’re planning to put up an
online business, you must have knowledge on the interests of your buyers. Lastly, his advice to
those who are starting small businesses is that they should keep pursuing their goals. They may
encounter a lot of hindrances along the way but it doesn’t mean they are incapable of reaching
success. Just trust the process and always pray, he added.
My learning from the interview is that, it’s not all about what business you want but you
need to consider the needs of your customers. You need to know what is on demand. Also, you
must possess the right mind et in order to deal with different circumstances that might happen to
avoid bankruptcy.
