MODE OF DELIVERY
I will be using our university’s learning management system (LMS), Canvas, for the course
offering this 1st Semester 2020. I will be posting all the topics and important references that
will guide you in studying at your on pace. Part of the study guide that we will provide you
are the internet links and website that you can visit to help you understand the material.

Synchronous Sessions (not required):

We will have scheduled synchronous sessions during our class hours where we will give a
synthesis lecture of the topics covered for the week/s. In addition, this will also serve as our
scheduled online consultation if you have any questions about the coverage.

Asynchronous sessions (required):

I will be uploading lecture/demo videos that you need to watch for each week. Each lecture
video is focus on a topic. In addition, I will give links of online materials (videos, readings)
that will aid you in understanding the topic.

I will be available online (through email) from Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 4:00pm for
consultation and questions. Please use the subject: “PHYSICS 61 (2020)” for your questions
and clarifications in your email.

Email Address: [email protected]

COURSE MATERIALS
I will provide you the links of our learning resources for each topic. This will include videos
and reading materials.
All the materials will be prepared in our LMS (Canvas) site. You may submit your online
quizzes, exercises, and problem sets at your own pace before the scheduled deadline within
the semester. If you are having any technical difficulty in accessing the materials, please don’t
hesitate to communicate with me as soon as possible.

If you currently have no internet access at all, kindly communicate with us at the start of the
semester (preferably the 1st week of classes) to arrange an alternative where we may send by
courier a flash drive containing the course materials.
