Activity No. 2. Millennium Development Goal and Sustainable Development Goal are a set of global goals for fair and sustainable at every
level. As a student nurse, you must be knowledgeable on these goals in relation to health. Identify the different factors in the Philippines by
comparing these goals. Please answer the blank sheet

The Philippines is one among the 191 member states of the United Nations that pledged their commitment to reduce extreme poverty
so that the other seven targets of the Millennium Development Goals be attained.

The Millennium Development Goals are the targets that were built on a thoroughly analyzed and proven framework while the
Sustainable Development Goal's are set of objectives to implement the Millennium Development Goals so that poverty and hunger be reduced
and addressed.

Poverty has been proven in the Philippines as one of the most significant challenges faced by its people. Filipinos are having a hard time
surviving considering the difficult conditions. This situation is caused by many factors like allow economics growth insufficient decent jobs,
problems on human settlements, Climate Change and poor status of peace and justice to name a few.

As a student nurse, I can do a little but strongly insignificant to do in the attainment of these goals specifically on health needs of the
Filipino people in all settings and through the life span. I can be an educator on health. A counselor an advocate care giver researcher,
collaborator, and agent of change.

I can voluntarily present myself to exercise my leadership skills in the attainment of the goals especially in the health concerns.

Finally, the success in the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals and the Sustainable Development Goals is in the hands of
citizens that can respond to the call of the global situations in answering all the adversities and phenomena.
