“Commit to Win” - Blitz Tournament

Under the slogan “We are committed to win”, Abu Dhabi Chess Club & Mind Games, in collaboration with
Dubai Chess and Culture Club, is inviting you to join
“Commit to Win” Blitz Tournament
As part of Abu Dhabi Chess Club & Mind Games strategy to continue the chess activities and improve the
technical level of players, considering the risk of spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19), the tournament
will be played online, on www.chess.com.
Regulations
• The entry is open to all citizens and residents of UAE.
• Tournament will be held on Swiss System of 11 rounds.
• Time control for each game will be 3 minutes + 1 seconds increment.
• All players must first create account on www.chess.com
• Members of Abu Dhabi Sports Council Club on www.chess.com can directly join the tournament

• New members must send request to join https://www.chess.com/club/abu-dhabi-sports-council
• New members must send to [email protected] the following information:
Emirates ID Username Real Name FIDE ID (if possible)
• Each player must individually join the event from his registered account.

General conditions of the championship


You can participate and play matches via a computer or mobile device after downloading the app chess.com
from the store.
It is forbidden to use any assistance from electronic devices during the game and the match rate will be
automatically checked through chess programs via the website.
All participants must check their devices and internet connection before the tournament starts.
All participants must be ready through the site 10 minutes before the start of the tournament.
By competing in this event, you are agreeing that your real (legal) name be shown while your games are in
progress. You are also agreeing to abide by all rules and site policies found at Chess.com/legal, and that you
will cooperate fully with Chess.com’s fair play detection team. Should your play be found too suspicious to
warrant playing for cash prizes, you may be removed from the tournament while it is in progress.
