CHAPTER 1

WHAT IS E-COMMERCE?

To keep it as simple as possible, the world of e-commerce includes companies whose modus operandi is
a company that runs on a network. Any company engaged in the purchase or sale of goods and services
via electronic media (primarily the Internet) is considered part of the ecosystem of electronic commerce.
This includes a variety of companies such as retail websites, auction or music sites and even business-to-
business exchanges (B2B companies). E-commerce is one of the most important public services on the
internet. The Internet not only offers large companies the opportunity to do business but also offers e-
commerce to small companies. That said, it is neither the easiest nor the cheapest process to do it from
home. Some companies offer starting companies the opportunity to develop e-commerce websites for
this reason.

E-commerce is essentially an electronic company. One thing to keep in mind, however, e-commerce is not
just about technology, it's about your business. Nowadays, the industry has become a fairly large part of
all companies, and that is the future of shopping. This method is preferable to many entrepreneurs
because it lowers the costs of doing business. The reason for this Electronic transactions, electronic
searches, cheaper advertisements ... the list goes on. In a simple definition, electronic commerce is the
"practice of buying and selling products and/or services on the Internet" (electronic, ie the word electronic
commerce). It is one of the fastest-growing industries in today's modern business world.

E-commerce can be a fully integrated solution or a technical front end for a company that would otherwise
not be wired. You can advertise and send traffic to your online-offline store, or you can offer your
customers to buy in your online store. Nowadays millions of companies are linked online and this has
proven to be very beneficial financially.

Take these statistics: 57% of consumers are likely to take action based on information from a brand
representative and 62% of consumers indicated that information from a brand representative would be
more valuable than advertisements or promotional material. Buyers can visit the website at their leisure
to find the information they need to buy a product. An e-commerce site

3
can offer a way that these buyers can search for a purchase. Once the buyer or customer has completed
the purchase process and is ready to pay, the website asks customers for personal information such as
name, address, telephone number and credit card. Today's biggest challenge for data-driven organizations
is managing secure information from within. Many people do not want to provide credit or personal
information on the internet. This can be solved by installing a VeriSign secure server ID on your server so
that you can securely collect sensitive information online. Doing this can increase sales by assuring your
customers that their online transactions are secure. When a customer makes a purchase, the company
receives the information by e-mail or fax. Customers only provide information via the Internet if they are
sure that their personal information, such as credit card number or financial information, is secure.

When you start your own e-commerce business, you need to take into account all aspects, including, but
not limited to, planning your website, designing and implementing, evaluating the ISP, security measures,
business/client interaction suite, management/accounting software and marketing. If you want to make
money online and start your own business, e-commerce is one of the best ways to do this. Make sure you
teach yourself in all areas of setting up and running your business.

The growth of the internet and business tools has produced e-commerce development companies such
as Shopify, Magento, Wordpress and WooCommerce, which are some of the major platforms that focus
on website development of e-commerce. Each of these e-commerce developers offers different e-
commerce packages for aspiring online businesses and has its advantages and disadvantages, depending
on what the specific business is looking for. What they have in common is that they are all easy to
implement.

WooCommerce: Is a plug-in for WordPress websites for creating online stores. With this plug-in, you can
sell all kinds of goods, including digital goods. WooCommerce with the ability to accept all types of
credit/debit bank cards, including PayPal, BACS and cash. WordPress with the WooCommerce plug-in is
becoming more popular every year.

Shopify: Generally considered the go-to platform for small businesses because of the benefits they offer,
including automatic taxes, shipping costs and support for multiple languages, giving you all major credit
cards.

4
Magento: on the other hand, offers the possibility of endless personalization for the company, unlike
Shopify. This is a feature that should be attractive to companies that sell products that are not classified
as most generic products sold by online businesses.

Shopify and Magento are two of the most popular platforms used by small businesses, but if you want to
start an online business, it's best to research those businesses and decide which one suits you best.
business model.

A Simple Guide To Selling Online

In the modern world of technology, people have become extremely dependent on the internet. They
communicate online, work online, conduct research projects online and spend their money online. For a
company that wants to succeed in the electronic age, it is often necessary to jump on the bandwagon and
settle down online. This article contains a brief overview of e-commerce and how you can effectively
market a company on the internet.

E-commerce is buying and selling products online. E-commerce has several important elements that you
need to start selling online:

1. Website, web design and hosting

2. Marketing
3. Online payment processors
4. Suppliers and direct senders

1. Website, Web Design and Hosting

Selling online is impossible without a website. Through this website, consumers are introduced to
your product, they can browse what you have available, then buy a product and have their order

5
delivered to their door. Although it all sounds simple, there is a lot of work behind the scenes to
get a website operational.

The first thing you need is a good computer. Although you probably don't do the web design
yourself, you must have access to your website to track visitors and purchases and to receive
orders. If you cannot access your store through your computer, it is a bit like being locked out of
your store without your front door. You also need another computer to host the website and
handle financial transactions, but there are hundreds of hosting companies and you can rent a
web server for just £ 20 a month.

Perhaps the first thing that affects sales is your website and the way it is designed. Nobody wants
to buy from a website that opens slowly, is not aesthetic, difficult to navigate and involves too
many steps to buying the product. Buyers will quickly go to another website. Start by making sure
your website looks good, with well-chosen colours, images (although there shouldn't be too
many, because images delay webpage opening) and clear and easy to find categories and options.
It is important to logically distribute your products by creating "shelves" or categories in your
online store. Searching too hard for a specific product is refusal for most customers. You must
also include a small amount of text with each product, with all relevant information about it.

When it comes to buying, convenience is crucial. All websites nowadays contain a "basket" where
consumers can place the items they want to order while they continue browsing. This is conducive
to increased sales because the customer can buy multiple items at once instead of buying one at
a time. Payment options are another important aspect of your purchasing system. The most
common way to buy is with credit cards, although many people now choose to pay with PayPal
or other virtual wallet systems, which speeds up the purchasing process.

To put your website online, you need a web host. A web host is a company that owns or rents a
server on which it offers space for your website, in addition to providing internet connectivity.
There is a wide variety of web hosts, all of which offer different benefits. An e-commerce site
requires a slightly more advanced host to enable financial transactions, etc. There are a few free
web hosts, but most require a monthly or annual payment.

Finally, make sure your website has a good domain name. Keep it short and simple, making it
easier to remember. Try to link it to your products, taking into account your customers

6
2. Marketing

A good website does not only sell. You need to market your website and one of the best ways to
do this is to optimize the search engines. If you want to place your website at the top of a search
on the internet, this can attract many new buyers. Your web designer can help, or various free
online guides provide advice. Pay per click advertising is another great form of marketing that
delivers immediate results. These are the ads that you see in search engines in the right-hand
column and sometimes at the top of the results pages. This can be costly, but can also yield great
rewards if done properly and your web designer should also be able to help in this area.

Remember the offline marketing methods when running an e-commerce business. Although your
site is online, your potential customers are not glued to their computers all day. They still read
magazines and newspapers, look at billboards and various other media that we are subjected to
every day. If your website address is short and catchy, it stays in their memory and you can
advertise effectively everywhere to get new customers.

3. Online payment processors

You need a payment processor to perform financial transactions on your website. A payment
processor is a company that appoints you to manage your credit card transactions. This company
takes the details of the credit card offered and authorizes its use to make a purchase. He then
places the payment in a merchant account, an account specially designed to accept these
payments. It also acts as an agreement between you (the merchant), your bank and your payment
processor. Again, many payment processors offer different services with different fees. Some
contain an integrated merchant account, others do not. It is important to do thorough research
on this topic because a bad payment processor can be a big headache and can cost you money.

The best place to look at online payment processing is your bank. You need a merchant account
with them and it is usually not worth going around because they all seem to have a similar price.
It is another account that holds the money before you deposit it into your professional bank
account. However, the payment processor is a different story. The costs of these companies vary
greatly and it is advisable to look at 2 or 3 to get an idea of the current prices. Sage Pay is currently

7
one of the most popular, as it offers fixed monthly costs for a certain number of transactions per
month, making the service one of the best value for money at the moment.

4. Suppliers and drop shippers

Unless you make your product, you usually buy products from a wholesale supplier and then sell
the product at the retail price. When you sell products online, you may not need to have the item
in stock in your physical store. However, often the buyer's decision is made on the assumption
that they can get the item quickly. People who buy online today expect an item to arrive quickly
unless clearly stated on the website. Many online companies choose to use dropshipping services
from several wholesalers. Instead of ordering the product, repacking it and sending it to the
customer, the product is sent directly from the supplier's website to the customer. This system
saves time and money because it lowers labour costs and improves efficiency. However, a possible
disadvantage of the direct shipping method is repeat orders. A purchase may be made, but you
discover that the supplier is not in stock. Keeping in touch with your supplier can minimize these
types of problems.

Participating in e-commerce can be difficult, but it may be exactly what you need to take your
business to the next level.

What Is E-Commerce Failure - The Top Six Reasons

It is an interesting question to know what drives customers to buy at an online store. But it is more useful
to investigate why customers end up NOT making a purchase and what the most important factors are
that keep them from purchasing. Here we present the six most important reasons for e-commerce failure.

The following six factors are the main reasons why a customer does not make the purchase:

8
1. They do not find the optimum product In most cases, the first reason is that the customer does
not even get the optimum product - he does not come across an offer that can convince him. This
is the topic of decision aid: an effective online store is like a good seller and helps the customer
find the optimum product. The decision aid is usually overlooked because different types of
customers have to be helped differently. But the good news is that there are several tools and
methods to make the choice. If you integrate them into your online store, you will see a noticeable
improvement in quality, so this sector probably has the most potential.

2. Our offer is not sufficiently convincing If the customer reaches the optimum product, he can see
and evaluate our offer: what does he get and for how much. Ideally, this is exactly what they want
and for them, the product is more valuable than what it costs, so they order it right away, but
unfortunately, that is not what happens. mostly. In most cases, they think it is too expensive and
will look further or think about it etc. Fortunately, there are many methods to increase the
efficiency of the offer; the more we use, the more convincing we will be.

3. They do not trust certain details of the offer, he is a real cunning assassin - he can prevent the
purchase without telling the customer why he did not make the final purchase. If the customer
does not trust something, he will not buy it. If parts of the offer are unclear and the customer
cannot see exactly what, when, how much and how much they can buy, they must want the
product to buy it.

4. The purchasing process is difficult and illogical According to statistics, at least half of the purchases
fail due to an illogical and difficult purchasing process. An online store is only good if the customer
can use it instinctively and the online store adapts to the logic of the customer and not the other
way around. It is hopeless if instructions are needed for buying in an online store.

5. They cannot choose from our range. This is the problem of traders who offer many products: if
the customer encounters too many comparable offers that also seem good to him and does not

9
receive useful advice to make the decision, he will not buy the decision but will postpone it for
later "to return later to come". Or they go to another trader who can help them decide.

6. They cannot find a suitable means of payment In my work I often face the question of how to pay
for products or services that are sold on the internet. There is no general solution; everyone must
decide according to customer preferences. The answer, therefore, lies in research. Less than ten
years ago, an e-commerce vendor could function well by buying alone without real customer
support. Today, however, it is not possible to ignore these views despite the strong competition
from other online stores (which are just a click away).

Why Do We Need An E-Commerce Website?

E-commerce is known for its ability to let businesses communicate anytime and anywhere and close
transactions. Electronic commerce uses technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic funds, internet
marketing, data exchange and inventory management systems.

Need an e-commerce website

E-commerce has become a thriving industry in recent years and it has become the only hope for online
shopping where people from different places can sit at ease and buy or sell their products or services.
According to a survey, it is estimated that by 2015, annual electronic commerce will reach around $ 278.9
billion. This allows retailers or people to host their e-commerce website and take advantage of online
commerce. It helps consumers know more about the product and this influences their decisions while
shopping. This also allows consumers to provide feedback on any product that helps other customers
trying to buy the same type of product, creating smart customers.

There are already many types of e-commerce websites, such as eBay.com, amazon.com and many others
that offer different products and services to consumers, with the advancement of e-commerce, people
are becoming increasingly dependent on it, because it enables them to shop online more securely and
easily without the hassle of shopping outside. This encourages the development of new websites and, in

10
turn, benefits both retailers and consumers. That is why we can say that soon e-commerce websites will
replace the effort of going out and shopping and therefore shopping with just one click.

E-commerce is not only advantageous for retailers because it offers consumers the opportunity to
compare prices and products and choose the best product at the best price. In this way, the consumer not
only gets the best product, but he also gets the product for the best price and therefore the consumer
saves the extra money.

How Does This Benefit A Customer Wallet?

E-commerce is actually about selling items online. It can be any type of item or product; health
supplements, clothing, shoes, jewellery, toys, computer accessories, electronic gadgets, etc. E-commerce
sites, on the other hand, are online stores or stores where the actual products are sold; just like having a
supermarket or a large online store. E-commerce stores can be huge and sell different products, such as
Amazon.com or eBay, or it can be small online stores that are run by small business owners and site
managers. With e-commerce, buyers can order directly from sellers and even buy products with their
credit cards anywhere in the world. If you are a seller and have not explored the benefits of using e-
commerce for your business, consider the following benefits:

E-commerce shopping sites are practical for the customer

Customers can find the products they need through e-commerce sites, even when they are at home.
Customers no longer have to travel, personally look for bargains and buy products in real stores. They can
even buy and store products directly from manufacturers.

Perfect way to present your products and services to customers

Buying on online sites will help the customer find out more about the products and will also help the
customers make a smart decision about their purchases. There are online e-commerce sites that also offer
product reviews and comparisons to help customers find the best deals online.

You can add reviews to help your customers

11
There are countless online products and customers often find it difficult to find the best or the products
that meet their needs. Consumers need the resources to compare products, evaluate products using
effective features, and also find the best sites to buy products. Reviews can be added to products on the
e-commerce site so that customers can find the items they need easily and efficiently. Reviews help
customers make good decisions because reviews can be done by professionals or by real customers.

E-commerce sites can become partner sites

Becoming an affiliate is a way to sell products from other companies or companies. Some e-commerce
sites are partner sites where customers can buy products and because there is a partner site, there is
more product information, articles, blog articles, and reviews that can help customers further.

E-commerce sites create smart customers

Online shopping becomes the future of shopping because it is more convenient and efficient. It won't be
long before most transactions are done online, which results in smarter customers who can make big
decisions. In general, a smart customer is a well-informed customer, e-commerce will also make smarter
products to satisfy customers better. Now that e-commerce is becoming the point of sale for customers,
it may never be necessary to have a real store soon!

E-commerce is not only for "retailers"

Although no one knows how many companies have e-commerce sites, it is estimated at millions. These e-
commerce sites do not only consist of small businesses, retailers and Mom & Pop companies.
Manufacturers, distributors and all types of wholesalers are now present in e-commerce. More and more
wholesale and distributor companies are now making their products available to the public and offering
wholesale savings without having to buy large quantities.

So now it's easy to understand how e-commerce websites benefit consumers.

What Do You Need To Know About E-Commerce

All companies say they offer the "best solution in the world", but who do you trust and how do you know
that this is the "best solution"? I decided to make a small manual for people who want to start an e-
commerce company.

12
There are two types of solutions for shopping carts:

a) Hosted solution
b) Fully licensed solution

The hosted solution means that you keep all files on the company server (solution provider).

The advantages of the hosted shopping cart are:

1. Much lower price for the solution

2. Generally a very user-friendly rear interface
3. Assistance from the supplier of the company. Of course, the supplier does not make the model
for you for free, but if you have technical questions, they can help you.

The disadvantages of the hosted basket are:

1. Limited design options

2. No access to source files.
3. Limited amount of products

This means that Web Design Company cannot change the layout of the shopping cart during checkout and
some of the most important elements of the layout of the shopping cart. I'm not saying it's not possible
at all, but to do that, the designer must use Javascript and CSS tricks, which I don't think is the best option.

If you have around 100-200 products, it costs a small price, if it exceeds a specific amount, the monthly
costs will increase.

The monthly fee for the hosted solution is generally between $ 30 and $ 120. Here are some hosted
shopping carts: Volusion, Big Commerce.

If you do not have customized requirements, the hosted solution can be a good choice for your store.

If you have a specific design, the layout requirements are The complete resource cart is the best solution.

13
First, the code is yours when you purchase the full source license.

If you want to switch to another hosting company, you can easily do this and your store will not be
bothered by this. Secondly, you can adjust the basket to your needs and add an unlimited amount of
products.

Full-source shopping carts work in the $ 400 and higher price range.

Here is the list of complete source shopping carts.

1. Magento Commerce
2. ShopSite
3. CubeCart
4. Agora cart
5. Zen Cart
6. Os Commerce
7. StoreSprite
8. OpenCart
9. PrestaShop
10. Ubercart
11. VirtueMart
12. Avactis
13. Business Catalyst
14. Wordpress
15. MagellanCommerce
16. ShopSite
17. ViArt
18. Interspire
19. 3dcart
20. Shopify
21. shop
22. StoreFront
23. AspDotNetStorefront

14
24. MivaMerchant
25. SunShop
26. Fortune3
27. GoEmerchant
28. I-Store
29. Network solutions
30. X-Cart
31. MerchandiZer Pro

It is expensive to use the full shopping cart based on experience, but this is only the first impression. The
monthly costs for the hosted shopping cart are around $ 80, and to create a custom design costs around
$ 2,500 to $ 5,000. If you use the full-source shopping cart, the monthly hosting costs will be around $ 40
and the design will cost about the same as for the hosted solution. So the full source license can cost you
between $ 1,000 and $ 2,000 in the beginning, but you ultimately save money and you are very flexible
with the design, the products, etc.

If you decide to create an online store, be specific with what you want. Think about your business model,
your expectations, etc. Remember that you are not just creating the e-commerce store; you create an
online business. Online competition is very important and you want to make sure that when the visitor
comes to your store, he becomes your customer. You must entice the visitor with design, user-friendly
navigation, promotions, etc. Web Design Company always helps you create a powerful business strategy
based on your customers and your expectations.

E-Commerce Stores That Work For Your Company

Managing an online store must be easy. This should help you increase your sales and be easy to manage.
A good online store may change the way you run your business. By managing your online store, you reduce
the overhead costs associated with running a physical store and you may reach international customers.

You can make your e-commerce solution work for you as follows:

Beautifully designed display case

15
Just like at a physical store, if your e-commerce store is not a nice place to visit, people will not buy there.
The more aesthetic your store is, the greater the chance that people will look around, explore your site
and possibly purchase your products. You can put your best foot forward by displaying your most popular
items on the homepage so that they are easy to find and buy.

Shopping security

You don't want to walk into a store, hand over your credit card, pass on your pin code and note your
address, so why would you expect people to be reckless with their online spending? If you do not provide
secure online payments, your store is likely to fail. Security is the key to online shoppers, they need to
know that their information is being processed and that their identity and money are not being stolen.
There are many ways to organize a secure payment, the most popular of which are: use a merchant
account at your bank or implement an online payment system such as PayPal.

Throw it in the basket

People love leaves, so make it easy for them to add items to the shopping cart and keep looking around.
You want a safe and simple shopping cart with information such as costs and number of items. The ability
to remove items with a single click is a huge advantage, and while it may mean that some customers do
not buy everything they add, it prevents people from cancelling their entire order due to an unwanted
product.

Sorry: The item you ordered is not available

Nothing is more frustrating when shopping online than learning that the product you have ordered is out
of stock. It is even worse if you are told after your order has been processed and the payment has left
your account. This can lead to very disappointed and angry customers - what you want to avoid! Make
sure you keep track of your inventory and update your website as soon as possible when a product is not
in stock. Several apps can help you keep track of your inventory, but it is always good to check.

16
Sales, offers and promotions

Think about what you attract to a store in the main street - big sales with a discount! The same applies to
e-commerce stores, by offering your products at a reduced price or by offering different promotions and
competitions, you can attract more customers to your store. It is important to remember that there are
thousands of online stores and that you should stand out. A simple way to do this is to inject your
personality into the company through newsletters, social media, blogs and marketing material.

One of the best e-commerce solutions in Shopify because it is fully customizable, offers advanced security,
a fully hosted shopping cart and the ability to reach everyone in the world. If you are not so technically
skilled but have great products, then PHP genius can help you set up and design custom Shopify e-
commerce stores. If you have an idea of what you want, PHP Genie can make it happen, for more
information visit the website.

CHAPTER 2

WHAT IS SHOPIFY?

Shopify is an e-commerce platform for creating online retail companies. A large number of companies are
turning to the world of hosted e-commerce platforms and Shopify offers them one of the best platforms
and that too without spending a fortune.

Almost ten years after his arrival, Shopify was chosen by a large number of entrepreneurs and startups
around the world to develop or migrate their companies to the web. But what is the reason for its
popularity when so many other options are available? Well, you have to read more to get the answer.
Let's look at the functions of Shopify that make it one of the most wanted e-commerce platforms.

It is affordable.

Cost is something that you cannot ignore, regardless of what you build. And building a store entails many
other costs that you have to consider. Shopify helps you by offering quality services at affordable prices.
If you compare it with other platforms, you have to pay lower monthly costs and get maximum services
instead.

This allows you to create attractive stores.

Your store must be visually attractive. Since there is no personal interaction, your online store is the only
one that you can present to your customers to win their loyalty. It not only offers you a nice and responsive
layout, but you can also choose from hundreds of themes that can be adapted to your needs so that you
can create unique online stores. Since Shopify is a popular e-commerce platform, many companies also
offer cost-effective Shopify development solutions in case you need professional help.

You do not have to worry about web hosting.

18
When you start your online business, web hosting can be a real headache. But with Shopify, you can be
confident that the servers of your site are properly maintained. Shopify pays for hosting,

manages the software and also helps you manage your payment escape, making your task simple and
transparent.

You get in-built marketing tools.

A store owner knows how much the costs are associated with marketing the products. Shopify also helps
you here! It has many integrated marketing tools to reduce start-up costs. This allows you to place meta
titles, page titles, meta descriptions, unique URLs, make pages visible and invisible and redirect pages if
necessary, and you can optimize your store on your terms. Also, Shopify is integrated with Pinterest,
Facebook and Twitter, the most popular social media platforms on the modern web where you can
promote your products.

They offer great technical support.

When you run an online store, you will occasionally be looking for technical support. Shopify offers
praiseworthy technical support that you can search for, in case your website stops working or other
problems occur, Shopify's customer service is available 24/7 to answer your calls or send you back on live
chats.

It's secure.

Even if it comes to mind, it's just as important as the others. Shopify is spending a huge amount of money
to ensure that its platform is secure and complies with the relevant rules and regulations. So you can be
sure that all your security issues are met.

19
The Best Platform For E-Commerce

How Shopify can help you increase your business revenue

among existing platforms for e-commerce solutions and is increasingly used by online sellers. I will
emphasize the Shopify functions that help online sellers and can also help your online business.

In short, Shopify helps with the product organization, offers users the flexibility to adapt the platform to
their business needs, enables the user to accept payments through various methods and even to track
and to respond to orders placed. In short, everything a user needs to effortlessly operate an online store
is provided by Shopify. Not only this, Shopify help boost sales for the company.

Here is how it works

1. It helps to brand online businesses - To survive amid the newest competition, a company must
have an appropriate brand image and Shopify contributes by offering the themes of which the
most suitable can be selected and adapted. In short, every company has its logo and colour
concept that should ideally also be implemented on its website. Shopify by offering customizable
themes gives the company flexibility and helps them promote the company online.

21
2. Flexible payment options - A company cannot predict or link consumer behaviour. Even with
payments, they cannot predict how the customer will pay. It is therefore always a good idea to
offer the customer all payment options. Shopify helps companies to do that. The one-window
platform offers online sellers the options to accept payments personally or online and their list of
options includes digital payment methods for cash on delivery. Also, transaction costs are zero for
sales.

3. Analysis and reporting - An online business needs to track the performance of its online store and
Shopify helps by providing quick access to its store reviews. The best thing about the platform is
that it can retrieve analytical data at any time of the day so that a company knows what works for
it and what doesn't.

Shopify comes with all these tools that can help an online business thrive. The online platform is affordable
and is one of the most accepted and used platforms for e-commerce solutions. So move your website to
Shopify and receive more returns.

all your info in your titles. Arouse the curiosity of the readers by making use of the separation
between the problems of the users and the solutions that you can offer.

Implode expectations. Keep in mind that few websites have received too much attention by
following conventional methods. Get off the beaten track. Dare to be angry and a little shocking.
De-filter yourself and your content. Write about things that your users do not expect. However,
ALWAYS back up your information with hard data and facts.

3. Obtain information: We recommend that you subscribe to websites such as Copy Blogger,
QuickSprout, Social Media Examiner and Content Marketing Institute. Note the types of headings
that generate the most shares and tweets. Don't be afraid of being experimental. You learn from

will naturally jump back. However, if you have great content, with interesting and valuable
information, your users will certainly want to read all of your content.

CHAPTER 3

WHAT IS DROPSHIPPING?

Dropshipping has become a very popular concept and many products are sold to customers with this
concept. Dropshipping is a supply chain management technique where a retailer does not keep the goods
he sells in stock. When you purchase a product from such a retailer, the order is transferred directly to
the manufacturer or a wholesaler and the goods are then delivered directly to you. Many people may not
even know that they have purchased products that are delivered immediately. we will learn more about
how dropshipping works and what you should take into account before selecting the right drop shipper.

As soon as a retailer receives an order from a customer, he forwards the order to a wholesaler or
manufacturer and then sends the goods directly to the customer. As with any other retail trade, the
retailer benefits from the difference between the wholesale price and the retail price. Retailers who sell
merchandise using a drop shipper often keep display items in the store for the customer to inspect. These
items generally show exactly or very similar to the product that will ultimately be delivered to the
consumer. Some retailers can only offer a catalogue or website from which the customer can select their
product.

Sometimes retailers prefer to hide the fact that they ship the goods to prevent stigma. This is achieved
using "blind shipping" when the goods are delivered without a return address. Sometimes retailers use
'private label shipping', in which case the goods have the return address of the retailer, even if it is sent
from another location. Dropshipping is widely used by small businesses and in online auctions. Many
personalized products are delivered directly to the customer. Sometimes even retailers who keep stock
send an order if the order is very large.

The most important advantage of dropshipping is that it eliminates many handling and inventory costs.
Because a wholesaler or manufacturer packs and dispatchesthe products itself, many handling and
inventory costs have been eliminated. This means that the customer obtains the product at a reduced
price. Like any other company, dropshipping also entails risks. One of these risks is out of stock. After the
seller has passed the order to the wholesaler, the goods may be sold out. This means that the customer
has to wait a long time to receive the goods. This has a bad effect on the retailer. When you start a new

34
company and select a drop shipper, you must take into account the type of availability that is guaranteed
by the drop shipper. You have to take it into account that you sell goods without having them at hand.
You must be sure that the drop shipper will have the goods available as soon as you have sold them to a
customer.

Dropshipping has many advantages. The main advantage is that the retailer no longer needs to buy in
bulk, so there is an immediate cost-benefit. Retailers avoid the risk of spending large sums of money on
shares that may not sell. Another big advantage is that no large storage space is needed for the stock.

The retailer usually sells an item on an e-commerce website or via an order form for a magazine/flyer and
collects money from the customer in advance. The retailer then places the order with the drop shipper
for processing.

Dropshippers come in many forms. They can be a manufacturer or a wholesaler. They can be difficult to
find because they do not publicly advertise that they deliver drop shipping. If you are looking for drop
shippers on the internet, you will be confronted with dozens of services that simply promise money with
dropshipping and these services must be largely avoided.

A true drop-shipper is an approved manufacturer or wholesaler. Everything else is an intermediary. While

it is possible to successfully negotiate with intermediaries, especially for the starting trader, it is best to
try to find the real deal to prevent you from being scammed and to maximize profits.

In recent years, several paid services have emerged that have done a lot of research and have built up
large and drop shipping databases. Although the purpose of these services is to provide authentic sources,
it is advisable to always check the sources before you start trading with them.

What Do You Need To Get Started?

The only thing that you need to get started is a way to market the products. The internet is obvious, but
you can also think of door-to-door advertising or the distribution of catalogues. Door-to-door or local
newspaper marketing requires a budget while starting a website and advertising online is incredibly
cheap. There are also many different systems for publishing a store, so look around and try it before you
decide.

35
That's about it. When a customer places an order, you place the same order with the dropshipping
supplier and it is sent directly to the customer for you. In general, it is a good idea to first test your supplier
to get an idea of response times and reliability.

Things to consider:

When goods are shipped to the UK, customs and import costs are charged for items with a higher value,
so make sure your customer is aware of this. My advice is to stay with cheap items until you understand
more about the company. Some drop shippers intentionally (and illegally) ship items that are marked as
"gifts" so that customers are not taxed by customs, so be careful.

You also have to register as a self-employed person or public limited company at a certain moment, and
that is something completely different. But don't be put off.

Where can you find a good supplier:

The key to starting your dropshipping business in the best way is to find a decent supplier. I suggest you
start with this dropshipping and wholesale site in China, as they list all the best wholesale and drop shipper
sites based on many factors. You are essentially looking for reliability, safety and the number of products.

That's all! Come back in the future to learn more about the different e-commerce systems and site hosts
that give you the flexibility and power you need to grow your new dropshipping or wholesale.

What Is Dropshipping And Does It Work For You?

In the most simplistic form, the goal of a company is to deliver a product or service to a customer. There
are as many ways to do this as there are companies, but one of the methods - which has become popular
with a more dynamic online market - is direct delivery.

A retailer who uses direct delivery, online or in the store, has little or no stock at hand. Instead, the retailer
contacts the manufacturer or wholesaler directly to process an order. The manufacturer will often charge

36
registration fees, which will help to cover their shipping costs. The retailer then keeps the difference
between the wholesale price (plus surcharges) and what the customer has paid for the item. In the ideal
case, direct shipping benefits all parties involved. A manufacturer does not have to pay that much for
marketing and advertising or to keep a sales team on the payroll. A retailer does not have to worry about
inventory, creating catalogues (which are often supplied by the manufacturer) or shipping. These savings
are then passed on to the consumer, who can purchase products for a lower price.

So for a small company or someone who works from home, dropshipping is an attractive way to deliver
products to its customers. A store can keep a few items on hand to display them so that customers can
get a good idea of what they are buying while reducing many other costs. A person who works from home
does not have to worry about inventory, renting a building, shipping products or many other aspects of a
typical business.

The principle of direct delivery is not new and saw no daylight with the explosion of the internet. In
principle, many home sales functioned in the same way. A makeup seller may have a few samples with
him, but when a sale is made, he passes them on to the company who then executes the order. The seller
is only paid when he makes a sale and only receives a commission on the product.

With the advent of the Internet, people can develop their websites that focus on selling different products
from different manufacturers and wholesalers, while minimizing costs and maximizing profits. Due to the
often low formatting percentage on a certain product, an important online presence is essential for
success. The more a person can add volume, the more benefits he will see.

Why is it important for suppliers and wholesalers?

Dropshipping is the wave of the future for retailers. It is a method for sending and managing inventory
without the retailer having to worry about the burden and high costs of expensive inventory. Dropshipping
usually occurs when a wholesale supplier cooperates with a retailer to sell one or more products. One of
the most difficult decisions for a wholesale supplier is to find the best retailer (s) to work with. These
decisions are difficult to make because the supplier, who constantly moves products, is the most critical
business. Ensuring an excellent partner is essential to ensure movement and ultimately profit for the
wholesale supplier and the retailer.

37
When retailers choose a wholesale supplier, a lot of research must be done to ensure that they get a
reputable wholesale supplier. Wholesale guides are available on the internet to find the best wholesale
supplier for the product marketed. Feedback from wholesale suppliers can be found on many online chat
sites and retailers can ask suppliers for a list of customers to perform feedback checks for verification.

Another important step to be a supplier and retailer in the partnership agreement is to get the best price
for both parties so that both can still make a profit. After all, making a profit is the reason why both parties
do business. Working together and offering discounts on large parties or larger bulk purchases is the best
way to satisfy both parties. Special discounts, discounts on shipping costs, all kinds of incentives help end
customers to satisfy because it means lower-end costs for the consumer. Working together as a team and
figuring out how to direct traffic to the retailer's site has both advantages. If the supplier can help the
retailer to be more successful by marketing the product more effectively and in a larger and more diverse
market, both parties win.

A retailer may have to provide some cash to start the business with the supplier, but a little extra effort
in advance can lead to greater profits in the future. Referrals, repeat customers and satisfied customers
lead to repeat customers and continuous cash flow for the wholesale supplier (dropshipper) and the retail
trade.

Make money online with the Dropshipping Business Model: Review of Methods

In recent years, more and more people have gone to the internet hoping to earn extra money. Whether
you click on ridiculous ads or read emails, opening your own hosting company is promoted as the best
way to make money online. Although some of these methods can provide you with a decent online
income, most never work.

A relatively new method has recently been touted as a good method to make money online, called drop
shipping. But what exactly is dropshipping? Does it work? What are the benefits and are there risks? Can
dropshipping work? Yes and no it works very well for some people, but for others, it is a complete failure.

Many factors play a role in the functioning of the dropshipping business model, such as:

38
1. The product sold - generally dropshipping only works with high-quality products. If you try to sell
a poor quality product, your customers will ask for replacement or refund, so you will suffer a lot
of loss, as the shipping costs for reverse logistics are your responsibility.

2. The price of the product - if the product has a competitive price, dropshipping will work, but if
your supplier asks for a higher price than your competitors, then drop shipping will not work for
you.

3. Delivery time - if your supplier cannot ship products quickly, your customers will not be satisfied,
causing you bad reviews and damaging your reputation.

4. The honesty of suppliers - In a drop shipping company, a good supplier means a lot. There have
been many cases where suppliers have misled sellers, sent defective or cheap products to buyers,
so it is very important to know which supplier you do drop ship with.

What are the benefits of a dropshipping partnership? Well, a dropshipping partnership has many
benefits, but the most important are:

1. Lack of physical inventory - since you sell using the dropshipping business method, all products
are stored in your supplier warehouse, saving you a lot of money on keeping inventory in a
warehouse.

2. Increase products in your online store - since you do not store the products you are selling, you
are not limited by the size of your warehouse to sell as many products as you want in your online
store. You can even sell products from multiple suppliers in your online store.

39
3. Lower shipping costs - manufacturers who do drop shipping do lower shipping prices because
they ship thousands of products daily and receive better quotes from shipping companies.

So far it goes well. It seems that dropshipping is the right thing to do when selling online. But as with
everything that has a positive side, drop shipping also has a negative side. So what are the risks and hidden
costs of a dropshipping partnership?

First of all, the biggest risk of drop shipping activities is that your supplier will scam you. He can send you
another product or even a defective product and later claim that the product broke during transport. And
the costs for returning the product are borne by you, the seller. Another major risk comes from buyers.
Buyers can also be scams. They can receive the product and later claim that the transaction has not been
authorized by them and that someone has used their credit card without authorization, so they will charge
you costs so that you no longer have any money and without the product. Another disadvantage of
dropshipping is that the wholesale price of dropshipping products is higher than when they are purchased
in bulk, so this is also a point worth considering.

How Easy And Profitable It Can Be

It is easy to do and can be very profitable. This is how most sellers work on eBay. However, finding good
suppliers can be difficult, so most people use a wholesale dropshipping directory to help them find
reliable, quality suppliers.

Many people use drop shipping to create large revenue streams on the internet. You've probably heard
of people who live full time on eBay. Of course, some people view local garage sales, pick up a few things,
and sell them online. But most people who make a lot of money don't even see the products they sell.
They don't even pay them in advance.

This is how dropshipping works:

1. You sell a product and the customer pays you.

40
2. You place an order with the supplier who sends the product directly to the customer.

3. You pay the supplier. The difference between what you pay the supplier and what the customer
pays you is your profit.

Sound easy? It is.

Dropshipping has become a very easy way for people to make money at home, in their free time without
starting capital.

The concept is easy to understand, but the most difficulty comes when you have to find a supplier. This
step is crucial and determines how much money you earn. You must find a supplier that sells your product
at a price that you can use to make a profit. If you don't know where to look, this seems like an impossible
task.

If you want to save yourself time and headaches, do what most people do - find suppliers in a dropship
and wholesale guides. These folders collect real and sometimes pre-selected providers (depending on the
folder) in one place, so users can quickly browse to find the ones that meet their needs.

With your membership, you can compare prices, read reviews and view the experiences of others to
ensure that the provider is legitimate. Many people are caught by online scams - don't let that happen to
you.

Also, many of these folders come with educational material and private forums, so if you need help or
have questions, you know that you will not be alone.

There are many dropship and wholesale guides, and it can be difficult to search for them to find the one
that meets your needs. I have looked at the most popular and popular directories to help you compare
and make the right choice. Discover them on Dropship Avis

41
What Is Dropshipping? Does This Suit You?

What is dropshipping? With the term "drop" and "ship", the retailer orders items directly from the
dropshipping and wholesale company by "dropping" the order and shipping the items directly to (your)
buyer.

The advantage is that as a retailer you do not hold stocks of products, you do not need storage to store
the products that you sell. You keep the markup price from the wholesale price by selling their products
at the selling price.

Now let's look at the disadvantages, you have no control over packaging, packaging, delivery time, repeat
orders, returns and exchanges and product quality. If your customer complains, you must take care of the
problems, not the drop shipping company.

1. What should you do?

Choose a reputable drop shipping company. Make sure you know which products you want to
sell. And find the right company.

Be careful when buying a dropshipping list. By choosing the drop shipping company, you know
their policy regarding shipping, repeat orders, returns and exchanges.

Choose the company that can offer you a higher margin but is of good quality.

Be careful with membership fees. Many require a fee to reach you. I just don't understand why
you have to pay "membership fees" if you want to sell their products? So be sensitive. Will it be
worth it?

If you are planning to do this as a home store, make it a legal business by paying a tax as a tax.
Request a tax identification number. Treat it as a serious and real company. Protect yourself by
running it like a real retail store. Ensure a good mutual business interest at the dropshipping and
wholesale company.

42
What makes the dropshipping business so good

With countless companies offering affordable products, selling products online has never been easier.
However, generally, only one basic product is needed for product sales. If you are new to online sales and
have no management expertise or products, you can still dare to dream and focus on international
customers, all thanks to the possibilities of dropship.

After registering with a reputable dropshipping company, it is possible to manage your company and make
a good profit with minimal capital. Dropshipping simply refers to the company in which a wholesaler or
supplier ships products directly to customers on behalf of local retailers or traders. Unlike commercial
brick activities, where you have to rent retail space, hire customer service personnel, and store large
quantities of merchandise, dropshipping simply requires that you post images and product descriptions
on your website. Now you have to calculate how much you can save in this way.

In addition to spending less, dropship also allows you to earn more by eliminating intermediaries. This
means that more profit is available to share between the supplier and the retailer. Another striking aspect
of this activity is the ease of not having to package or ship products from customers. You only have to pass
on the orders to your supplier and take advantage of the benefits.

The key to excelling in this area is finding a good supplier who is known for the reliability and quality of
the products. Suppliers who do drop shipping missions in the UK include customs fees and shipping costs.
Customs fees above a certain value are indeed sent to the United Kingdom. You must be aware of these
facts to correctly answer customer questions.

As you can see, the dropship activity offers good savings for everyone thanks to high operational efficiency
and fast delivery times.

What makes drop shipping a company that earns a lot of money?

Many people are eager to use an online wholesaler with which they can work from their own home.
However, they become discouraged when they realize that they have to make a huge investment to buy
and sell a business. Finding a supplier for the products they want to sell can also be a difficult task.
Fortunately, there is an innovative way to sell online that does not require a large investment from
retailers. This is called drop shipping.

43
Dropshipping is a revolutionary way to manage stocks so that products are delivered directly to the
customer by the wholesaler. The store sells the products easily and accepts payment for purchases by
customers. The retailer transfers the orders to the drop-shipper wholesaler and pays the price of the drop-
shipper. As soon as the drop shipper receives payment for orders, they package the items and ship them
directly to customers.

Using a drop shipper to deliver the products that you sell in your online retail store is a great option,
especially if you don't have a lot of money to invest. You only pay for the items that your customers have
already purchased. You do not have to purchase an inventory in advance. Moreover, you do not have to
worry about product storage, packaging and shipping. This is done by the drop shipper.

A large number of people now prefer to buy online because it is very practical and they can easily compare
prices. The online market is growing steadily, especially with the affordable prices offered by online
retailers. Even department stores now sell some of their products online. Many retailers and drop shippers
now benefit from a substantial turnover from their online business.

For online retailers, dropshipping is a company with low risk and low investment. As a retailer, you only
have to concentrate on product marketing and increasing sales. From the wholesale drop shipper, this
allows them to expand their market without additional investments.

Finding a reliable wholesale drop shipper is essential for the success of your online business. Now it's easy
to do with SaleHoo, whose online wholesale guide contains thousands of suppliers that are guaranteed
to be legitimate companies you can count on. You will find many drop-shippers in the SaleHoo directory.
Best of all, many SaleHoo suppliers can ship to international destinations, so you can serve customers
around the world. This will certainly help you generate more sales for greater profit.

A better understanding of the company

Do you know what drop shipping is? Most people who are looking for information to make money on the
internet see drop shipping opportunities, but they tend to be hard to understand or not because they
don't understand what it's about. is.

the images from the OpenDropship site and add them directly to other sites and social networks,
as well as to e-commerce sites to get more visibility. When the product is sold, the seller informs

Wholesale Dropshipping - Everything You Need To Know About The

Company

If you want to be successful in drop shipping wholesale, there are a few important things you need to
know. You need to know what wholesale drop shipping is, how you can make money with wholesale
dropshipping and how you can make money with eBay.

What is wholesale dropshipping?

Wholesale dropshipping is an online method that is used to purchase retail items at a cheaper wholesale
price. After purchase, the items are sent directly from the supplier to the customer. By using this method,
those who purchase bulk can save a lot of money. You not only save money but also save time and effort.
The most important thing in wholesale dropshipping is finding a reliable wholesale dropshipping supplier.
If you are unlucky to find a negative source, this could mean the bankruptcy of your company. To be
successful, it is important to research wholesale drop, shipping providers.

How can I earn money with wholesale dropshipping on my website?

Fortunately, making money online is not as difficult as many people seem to think. All you need to make
money online is a constant stream of visitors that are directed to your website. With a constant amount
of website traffic, one can probably see a reasonable profit for their company.

To start the process, you need to do some research. This research focuses on the successful launch of an
e-commerce website.

46
You also need to learn how to place an electronic shopping cart on your website to make it easier for your
customers to buy products. There are also various ways to make money through your website. You can
do this by selling advertising space, using email marketing for repeat customers, and using affiliate
marketing. One of the goals of the company is to think outside the box, this method makes your business
adventure more interesting. It is also necessary to work hard to succeed. By doing these simple things,
you have a great chance of becoming a rich entrepreneur.

What are Dropship Wholesale Directories?

How can you benefit from this?

The Dropship wholesale folder is what you are looking for if you want a reliable and affordable drop
shipper for your company. The internet has limited links, but with careful exploration, one can find the
ideal drop shipper.

The following are just some of the benefits that one could get from using. Dropshippers are a valuable
aspect of a company. With these dropship directories, their business partners can save a lot of time and
effort, otherwise, they would constantly search online and offline for their ideal dropshipping company.
Finding a suitable and reliable wholesaler is quite difficult because the intermediaries are usually
established. Only an extensive but reliable folder offers many listed companies that are authentic and
accessible to companies.

An inclusive and extensive dropship wholesale directory will have popular wholesalers and even small
wholesalers on the list that are not regular and difficult to find on the internet. Spending a lot of time
searching the internet and choosing companies appears to be a waste of resources, because the choices
are limited and, as mentioned earlier, not all good companies are on the internet.

Expect an excellent, renowned repertoire to be constantly updated. When you subscribe, look forward to
identifying the newest wholesale companies on the market and expanding your business.

Wholesalers offer different choices. Consumers or business owners need to assess the costs and quality
of the services and products of their potential wholesalers based on their needs and standards.

47
More opportunities come with a huge dropship wholesale directory because they will not only offer a list
of local drop shippers but also abroad. If online business owners want to save more, they need to buy
cheaper quality products but of good quality, usually supplied by Asian wholesalers.

Finding good wholesale drop ship directories is usually not free because these directories are managed by
many people and time. We cannot fully rely on free folders, because almost all of them are not useful and
have adequate and up-to-date information. On the other hand, although some online phone directories
are paid for your monthly or unlimited access, if you are determined to have a successful online business,
these are the ones you should probably rely on.

How To Start Your Own Ebay Business

If you want to generate income online, this is a surefire way for you to do big on eBay. Many people join
the home business movement and use these drop shippers or wholesalers to make a lot of money on
eBay.

eBay has no limit on the number of items that a seller can mention. For example, a book may be listed by
the seller as 50 available units. This way you can profit from the product that you want to sell. However,
if you do your maths and realize that it is not going the way you want, you might consider selling another
product.

The first step in starting an eBay business is to get products that you are going to sell. Where are you going
to get the items that you are going to sell? Because you have already sorted the items in your garage,
bedroom or attic, you can also try to brighten up your business. I strongly recommend that you use Digital
Point or Wordtracker for your SEO needs. Moreover, it would not hurt to spend money on a little paid
advertisements. A great way to advertise is to sign up for Google Ad-sense, as this gives you quick access
to the results of the first page. However, keep in mind that you are probably paying a little more for the
keywords.

Like all other companies, you need small investments, such as money, time and effort, to run your
business. But rest assured, dropshipping on eBay can certainly work for you.

48
EBay's economy

It is easy to apply what we have learned at school in economics: the more people offer the same products,
the lower the benefits. But in dropshipping, you only sell items that the public will certainly buy. That is
why people who use the services of these companies have the opportunity to sell thousands of their
products at online auctions or flea markets. A good feature of this system is that buyers and sellers give
and receive ratings and comments from each other; therefore, the most reputable sellers get more
buyers. This is bad news for small players, those people who have tried to sell similar products, but to no
avail. It is therefore advisable to first consult the advertisements to see if your product is comparable to
others or not.

What is dropshipping exactly? Those who want to start their homework often receive only the basics,
but is there more? What is that?

Dropshipping is like running your online store. You sell small quantities to the public, but you, the retailer,
buy more from the wholesaler. The difference with drop shipping is that instead of the goods sent to you
for storage and delivery, the wholesaler will deliver the goods directly to your customers.

Online auctions

People who don't want to own a website or think they don't have the time to keep it up to date will use
auction sites such as eBay for their drop shipping activities. The item is delivered directly to the successful
bidder by the wholesaler. The money you earn is the difference between the wholesale price and the price
that the bidder pays. The auction sites are also paid, so you don't earn as much as your own, but your
products are spotted more easily.

The advantages

The biggest advantage is that you never have to store the goods yourself, so you don't have to worry
about storage space. Moreover, the way most wholesalers work means that you will never have debts.

49
You are paid to buy the buyer as soon as the purchase is made, but you normally pay the wholesaler with
a credit card or another credit card, meaning that you have the customer's money for a certain period,
but not your wholesaler paid.

Disadvantages

There are risks, just like with any business venture, dropshipping is no different in this respect.

There are times when you sell a product while the wholesaler is currently out of stock, this may mean that
the buyer has to wait longer for his products and this, in turn, hurts you as a retailer. Good wholesalers
usually keep you informed of their stock, but ultimately it is your responsibility. This is where it can be
useful to buy a good list of wholesalers before you start.

Scam

Be warned that you need to buy or get a safe list of wholesalers before you start your dropshipping
adventure. Due to its popularity, dropshipping has also become very popular for working at home. Many
will simply refer you to an intermediary who will then charge you additional costs to find you, wholesalers,
the intermediaries do not have a real product to sell. They also charge a normal fee instead of a one-off
fee, which means that you will make very little profit if any.

So you have an explanation about what drop shipping is. This can be very lucrative, but first, make sure
that you buy from a trusted wholesaler.

How can I earn money with eBay?

If you want to earn money with eBay, you must first familiarize yourself with how the site works. eBay is
a very competitive market and to stand out from the rest of the competition you must be able to stand
out from it, you must have the opportunity to stand out. To make money, you must register as a seller
and sell yours or even other things for profit. Creating an eBay store is a good idea if you have to sell
multiple items on the site. By doing this, you can save on registration costs and even increase your chances
of acquiring loyal customers.

50
Advice on direct delivery of eBay items

When we talk about drop shipping, eBay usually also plays a role. We all know that we can sell all the
products on eBay where thousands of customers hang out. Because very few sellers want to keep stocks
at home, the idea of drop shipping comes into play. What a drop shipping service does is store the
products that you want to sell at home and send to your customers. customers for you. Once you have
placed your order with the drop shipper, you only have to complete the transaction with your customers
on eBay and the rest will be handled by your drop shipper.

Direct delivery of eBay items is the best way to save time, money and hassle. How it all works on eBay is
that you start your auction and when the transaction is completed, the customer's address is
automatically sent to the drop shipper, who then sends the item sold directly to the specified address. In
most cases, your customer hardly knows the details of the entire transaction. However, it is essential that
the shipment is on time and that there is no damage to the item upon arrival. You only have to pay a small
fee for all the complex processes that are going on for you.

If you are dealing with a dropshipping company for the first time, you will often be asked to pay in advance.
However, if you have already established a good relationship with your drop shipping company, you can
ask for better deals and offers, policies, guarantees and more. You just have to negotiate where you can
while you are realistic. Actual transactions often depend on the number of transactions in a given period.

To be successful in drop shipping, you have to search for items that everyone is looking for hard to find.
Don't go for products that have a lot of competition on eBay. That is why you may want to follow eBay
auction announcements from time to time to test the waters.

The direct delivery of eBay items is becoming increasingly popular. But be careful. Make sure your drop
shipper has an inventory of an item that you are trying to sell on eBay. Remember that your customer
thinks you have this product in your inventory because it is listed on your site. You can get into trouble if
your customers don't get what they expect. So be prepared for the worst situation, because the shipping
process is more controlled by your drop shipper. It is therefore very important to exercise your due
diligence on the drop shipping company that you decide to use.

CHAPTER 4

SILK ROAD

The Silk Road was a trade route that began in the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 9 AD) and connected
the Eastern and Western worlds. The silk route is generally defined as the transport and trade route that
crossed Central Asia and the Pamir plateau to reach West Asia. The Silk Road consists of many main roads
and secondary roads. The north road (Prairie Silk Road) started from the Mongolian plateau and ended at
the Karakoram. Historically, it was an important route used by nomads from Central Asia to travel west.
Originally there were different routes, but the longest was known as Desert Silk Road. It was often
mentioned in old documents. The southern route, known as the Silk Road over the sea, was mainly used
by Southeast Asians, Persians, and Arabs. This sea route started from China, traversed India, Southeast
Asia, crossed the Red Sea and finally reached the Persian Gulf.

Chinese culture, Roman culture and Persian culture have been linked by the ancient silk route for more
than ten centuries. Because of the silk route, Chinese silk, gunpowder making, paper making and printing
were introduced in the West, while Buddhism, Nestorianism, Islam and many arts and technologies were
introduced in China. Since the opening of goods and ideas between China and the West, the Silk Road has
taken care of it.

The central route stretching from Asia to Europe began in Xian in the east and travelled more than 7,000
kilometres through the Chinese provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai and Xinjiang on the plateau
from Pamir and through parts of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Central Asia, such as
Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Syria before they arrived on the east coast of the Mediterranean. The section
in China is more than 4,000 kilometres long, more than half the total length.

Historical sites and cultural remains are rich along the Chinese section. There are the terracotta warriors
of the Qin Dynasty (221-207 BC), the Famen Temple that still houses bone fragments of the Sakyamuni
Buddha, the Mogao and Maijishan caves made for more than ten dynasties, the Jiayu pass of the Great
Wall, the Han dynasty signal towers, the famous Ta'er monastery of Tibetan Buddhism, the ruins of
Gaochang once a strategic city on the Silk Road and the ruins of Stone City where you can find directions

52
for Xuan Zang Buddha and Marco Polo. These are a small number of the different locations, remains and
landscapes that exist along the Chinese side of the Silk Road.

The natural landscape along the silk route is simply stunning: the bird island of Qinghai, the salt lake of
Qinghai, the nature reserve Swan in the prairie of Bayanbulak, the heavenly lake in Tianshan Mountain,
the wind-damaged terrain of Lopnur, Danxia Landform, Turpan's Flaming Mountain, the ghost town of
Karamay and many others, too many to mention. For centuries these beautiful places have attracted many
tourists to explore.

Many ethnic minority groups inhabit the area along the silk route. In the Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai
and Xinjiang Autonomous Regions of Ulcinj, ethnic groups each have different cultural traditions, customs,
historical backgrounds and religious beliefs. They are known for their hospitality and excellent in singing
and dancing. Travellers along the Silk Road can visit the Xipo Ethnic Garden, kindergartens and ethnic
villages, and visitors can see shepherds living as they have for centuries. In different ethnic communities
you can enjoy indigenous singing and dancing, unique festive events, attend holiday celebrations and buy
indigenous crafts. In some parts of the Silk Road, you can take a cable car to see the landscape, or rent
camels to travel through the desert to enjoy the landscape and the endless sea of sand.

In recent years, the Chinese government has improved roads and infrastructure along the Silk Road. As
one of China's most famous tourism projects, the ancient silk route has caught the attention of the whole
world. Many visitors come on this adventure in the desert for a scientific study, a historical and cultural
exploration, an experience of ethnic life, and ecological visit, a sporting visit and to learn more about one
of the most important cultural and trade routes. most important in the history of the world.

Travelling On The Silk Road

The Silk Road is one of the most popular tourist destinations in China. There are already many travel
agencies and tour operators who offer trips in 2010. So where is it and why is it so popular?

The silk route traditionally stretches from Xian in central China to the Middle East or Europe. There are
many routes, some to Moscow in the north and those to India and Pakistan in the south. Just like travellers
in the Marco Polo era - the 13th century - the old trade routes still exist, although the type of goods sold
and the mode of transport have changed. The reason that the silk route starts/ends in Xian is that it was

53
the ancient capital of China and the internal trade routes, in many cases along the Yangtze and Yellow
rivers, had already been established. distribute goods in China.

Nowadays, many tourists start their journey on the Silk Road in Beijing. The imperial city, the Great Wall
of China, the many places of historical interest ensure a stay of 3 to 5 days. Add some shopping and time
to explore the cuisine of Northern China and you are ready for your Silk Road experience.

How do you get there?

Most international airlines fly to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. There is a lesser choice of flights to and
from West China and most are based from the capital of Xinjiang province, Urumqi.

China has rail links to the north with Mongolia, Hong Kong, Tibet and to the west with Moscow. For the
more adventurous, there are various train connections to Vietnam.

Bus access to/from Pakistan is available along the Karakorum Highway, except November to April when it
is closed. Delays and inconveniences can be part of this itinerary, so be prepared. Travelling to Pakistan
must be seriously considered. We spent 12 wonderful days here at the end of 2007, but with the rise of
the Taliban, the risk for Westerners has increased considerably.

Visas are required for all access points to China and I recommend that you obtain them well in advance.

Getting around

Travelling by train is popular in China, although it has an extensive bus network. Of course, you can fly,
but that would destroy the main purpose of visiting China - meeting people. Travelling by train is reliable,
fast and cheap. "Soft" sleeping compartments for four or on certain routes for two people are available
or if you want to go with the locals, try the "hard" class, but unless you have a limited budget, this is not
recommended. You need help buying train tickets because few station staff speak English. Schedules and
options can be complex. Ask an experienced travel agency in China to help you.

Many companies offer guided tours along the Silk Road. Most use a combination of bus and train journeys.
International companies include GAP, Peregrine, World Expeditions, Travel Indo-China. You can find them

54
with Google. Some tours include a chef and a heavy guide. The standards for accommodation and comfort
are reflected in the prices.

Another option is to hire a guide from Chinese companies such as Xinjiang Silk Road Adventures in Urumqi.
Local guides can be provided on a daily or worldwide basis for a tour, at very reasonable prices. Guides
must have a permit in China.

When should we go

China is a huge country with eight time zones. The climate varies considerably. The summers can be hot
and sticky and the winters extremely cold, so the best months are in spring and fall. Consult a good guide
to find out what temperatures you can feel during your planned trip to dress properly.

Affiliate And Referral Marketing, 21st Century Silk Road

The Silk Road, which began centuries ago, has become affiliate marketing and sponsorship. We now can
effectively move products and services on a 21st-century trade route.

Our ability to establish and measure a market before we produce a product has never been greater. By
using network marketing and affiliate marketing model, we can now set up virtual distributors in almost
all countries.

For years, the MLM marketing model has had many serious and ridiculous strokes. After seriously
considering since 1990, when I introduced the idea, I notice that this model offers the greatest benefit for
effective and efficient distribution of products and services. The system needs to be adjusted somewhat,
but overall I see it as an important part of world trade soon.

No other system, you can build a distribution base of consumers that can be questioned before a product
is published about the market potential and can also serve as a distribution system. With advanced
knowledge of potential sales, production and delivery logistics can become a relatively simple and efficient
process.

55
During the Silk Road era, there were many dangerous physical challenges to overcome, and in the end,
they proved too difficult to overcome. With the new technology we have been given, we can restore the
trends that began centuries ago. Trade, art, religion and culture generally flourished along the Silk Road.
Different peoples lived in relative harmony and productivity. I am proud to continue to realize this idea.

As before, many people want to maintain the status quo and they do not hesitate to work powerfully
through subversion, against the evolution of this new system. There are also internal enemies of greed,
cunning and a lack of understanding of future developments.

Those of us who participate in this adventure must understand the meaning of what we do. Many
networkers only see the possibility of transforming a fast dollar. Although the cooperation significantly
reduces the time required for success, we must be aware of the long-term stability that we must integrate
into these systems.

Attract people to systems where 95% of errors are not a basis for building. With the technology that exists
today, it is not essential for someone to break free from the system, learn marketing or become a
marketer. Cooperative participation by contributing their hard-earned resources to the system should be
sufficient.

Let those who suppose to know what to do and how to market this collaboration benefit everyone.

 The effective and efficient marketing and distribution of products and services is the missing link
that will unite our planet and provide a fair basis for building healthy economies. I have chosen
affiliate and referral marketing as the most likely to succeed in these tasks.
 In my opinion, a market speculation is an unnecessary form of doing business. I am not an expert
on any speculative market; I only look at the symptoms of the global economy and I find much to
be desired. When we harness the power of cooperation, most of the defect and the degradation
that we see will be eliminated.
 Multinational corporations and individuals will benefit from the cooperative economy, and the
system I have worked on is very suitable as a candidate to serve most people. Sharing our goods
and services leads to a healthy relationship along our evolving trade route.
 Building a global cooperative by tagging a single URL is the most cost-effective way to build. The
concerns of members will automatically benefit from traffic to the cooperative, thanks to a

56
calibrated process behind the scenes. This process ensures a fair and efficient distribution of new
consumer traffic in the cooperative.
 The original product offered by the cooperative must be able to be delivered electronically via the
internet to form a large global basis. The product must also be affordable for as many people as
possible to enable the participation of people on low incomes. Once the growth cycles and zones
have been established, it can be developed into more tangible products.
 The potential of this type of system to offer benefits to adults and children around the world is
huge. Other consequences could be considered in a future article that could change the way we
live our daily lives. Too many people live in poverty in a world with the talent to do better.
 Like the Silk Road of Antiquity, this process will travel more and stimulate the exchange of ideas
and culture that will serve to unify our disintegrating world. Communities that now have no
contact with the abundance that this planet has to offer will be thriving parts of our system.
 If it looks like a cake in the sky, I want to remind you that this whole world was built by
Someone’s persistent dreams and actions this is your chance

The Silk Road Is Open Again For Business

Two new major players emerge in the east: China and India. Both have huge landmasses and huge
amounts of natural resources. Both offer different business opportunities, but there are some differences
between them.

China is led by one party - the Chinese Communist Party. That is why his ideology has long been anti-
capitalism and, as we do now; international trade is one of them. China has realized its potential today
and its economy, although slowed by the global crisis, is developing steadily and over time China will
become a leading global economic player. Due to the low prices of raw materials and labour, Chinese
products can compete successfully on the world market.

India is a democracy and until the 1990s it had closed its economy, but it has regularly opened its economy
for the past 15 years. Although there are still many limitations, the Indian economy is one of the most
dynamic in the world. India focuses on information technology, outsourcing and pharmaceutical products.

57
Then there is the question of quality that applies to both countries. With the modernization of industry
and education systems, the two countries are steadily closing the quality gap compared to more advanced
countries. There is still a long way to go to reach the economic level, such as in the United States or
Western Europe, but there is huge potential in China and India.

Can we expect a better Chinese watch in the future than its Swiss counterpart? Probably not, but it could
be a fairly close call.

Business on A Silk Route

The euphoria for LOC cross trade is still relevant. Because AJAK's trade delegation has had several rounds
of discussions with different sections of society, people are always engaged in debates about the
feasibility of a much-published trade. While a large majority of people realize that the LOC cross-trade
appears to be (more or less) a blur, the disoriented group is now focusing on the commercial prospectus
on the dead and dead cliché-silk route in the unknown foreign markets in Central Asia and beyond.

The question is the hot topic in the city during conferences and seminars organized here and there. With
the nightmare/hangover experience of the economic blockade still in turmoil, people see that producers
(and nations) with goods should not limit themselves to a single market and adhere to one whole. of
pipelines or trade routes, the frenzy explores the ways and methods of selling goods wherever they want.
This is why routes in different directions and different markets.

In the Rose Revolution (Georgia), the Orange Revolution (Ukraine), the Tulip Revolution (Kyrgyzstan) and
the violent protests in Uzbekistan, strategic location, energy sources, competition for pipeline routes and
other benefits Competitive all have helped China a niche and influence in the conquer the region. Given
the role that China plays in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the political orientation and
behaviour of the SCO in the region the role of India, despite its assertions about compatibility with the
dictators of Central Asia, remained virtually non-existent.

The cumulative economic potential of the largely Central Asian countries (including China and the South
Asian countries) is largely due to the large human, natural and industrial resources. It is a market of more
than 2,500 million people with a total gross domestic product (GDP) that represents more than half of the

58
world's GDP of $ 45,135,200 billion --- three of the next generation of economic forces from BRIC (Brazil,
Russia, India and China) are located in and around the Great Silk Road). Central Asia is a huge consumer
market that is hungry for goods/services such as joint ventures in the construction and construction
infrastructure, banks, insurance, agriculture, IT, pharmacy, tea, medicines, fine chemicals, the exploitation
of hydro-electricity for the export of electricity to the neighbouring South Asian countries. The current
market players are Russia, Europe, other CIS countries, Turkey and China.

India, with a $ 720 per capita GNI, huge resources, cost competitiveness and commercial complementarity
(export basket of agricultural products, textiles, precious stones, software services, technology, technical
products, chemicals and leather products, etc., and the possibility of joint ventures to offer in sectors such
as water treatment (for example for Tajikistan), use of hydro-electricity, processing of building materials
such as marble, granite, precious stones and construction aid in the semiconductor industry) have never
really been part of the competition. Without direct road or transport access and difficult market
conditions, the region has never become attractive to Indian private companies. India's economic
relations with the region have decreased considerably. In recent years, annual official trade between India
and the entire Central Asia region (compared to the total trade of $ 130 billion in 2005) has been around
$ 200 million, Kazakhstan representing half of this trade. India is nowhere in the composition of the trading
countries for the Central African Republic (CAR) plus Azerbaijan and Afghanistan for the year 2005, as
shown in the following table.

The Central Asian market is plagued by threatening political conflicts, poor infrastructure, slow borders,
too many formalities, arbitrary and old bureaucratic borders with international financial institutions,
administrative barriers, non-accession to the TIR agreement (1975) and the Agreement on the
harmonization of border control of goods (1982). The enormous costs of foreign trade are not conducive
to greater regional or continental trade. The countries of the region as well with the IFIs are confronted
with the myopia of a rigid regionalism that hinders a greater interaction between Asia and Europe and
even less the commercial prospectus for our kashmiris. The current turbulent situation in Afghanistan and
Pakistan (including the conflict in Kashmir); and Indian involvement in the affairs of Afghanistan in
competition with the United States in the common interest of stabilizing Afghanistan and reducing
Pakistan's influence, combined with Chinese phobia to facilitate the opening of the Silk Road to India (also
known as Kashmir) is in no way beneficial for trade to explore the potential of our trade on the Silk Road.

The commercial hive projected from the Kashmir Valley is still dominated as a convention, by commodities
that have virtually no commercial complementarities with those of the needs in the target markets, either

59
in the COL or in CAR. Similarly, the commercial profile of RACs is also not complementary to the
requirements of our market. It is therefore in the light of all these exaggerated preventive factors to plan
an economic integration between Kashmir and CAR soon. On the other hand, what is immediately
demanded of us is that we must get rid of the monomaniacal tendencies of groping in the dark and not
be influenced by the euphoria and hypes of the market? Without wasting time, we must concentrate on
the grey areas of our economy to strengthen it and enable it to become an economic force. It will also
require us to explore the possibilities of developing our human resources, developing and updating their
import replacement skills, expanding and diverting the export basket (in favor of services and products
with added value for longer shelf life and out of season) when adapting to market needs.

Let us all (our economists and intellectuals) come out of our relaxed approach, typical of us Muslims /
Kashmiris, and develop strategies (short and long term) to free this valley from a mocked consumer
country and poop for dependence on economic generosity, resources and subsidies from "OTHER".

Historical Changes Are Underway On The New Silk Route, Creating

Investment Opportunities

You have probably heard of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Association), OPEC (Organization of

Exporting Petroleum Countries), EU (European Union) and BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China)) ... but have
you heard of the MENA region?

Okay, you ask ... what is it and why do I care?

If conventional wisdom no longer works, we need alternative investment strategies and you need to
consider a very large region that together has a larger economy than Brazil, Russia and India ... 3 of 4 BRIC
countries. And in terms of growth, this region is growing faster than one of these countries.

In terms of population, this region is larger than the United States and has approximately the same
population as the EU. Moreover, this region has an exploding population (which is good from the
perspective of the engine of growth ...

60
This region lies in the middle of a part of the world along the old silk route ... where we think of a network
of traders with caravans full of silk, herbs, flowers, jewellery and gold ... and trade routes with the romance
of the Indian Ocean. From Perth, Australia, to Mombasa, Kenya, along the East African coast with up and
down courses of the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea.

A political thaw is underway in a country in this region that has been the trade intersection between East
and West since the time of the last century as a link on the old silk route.

Examples of this thaw are that the United States after four years of absence send an ambassador to this
country and that the United States relax export bans to this country.

The region is called MENA or the Middle East and North Africa. Among the largest economies are Saudi
Arabia (where this author has had a headquarters for two years) and the United Arab Emirates (including
the must-see city of Dubai). As a result, the MENA region owns 60% of the world's proven oil reserves and
nearly half of its natural gas.

Over the years a lot has changed in this region and the reach has become so large that the New Silk Road
makes its way through Damascus, Riyadh, Dubai, Mumbai, Chennai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong
Kong. Along the new Silk Road, the main alternative growth strategies include water and food shortages,
infrastructure needs, energy (in terms of drilling, pumping and distribution) and utilities. engineering ...
and finally it offers growth that is not dependent on US trade (which should be fairly anaemic).

In 2000, Chinese exports to the Arab world amounted to only $ 6 billion. Last year, Chinese exports to the
Arab world ($ 48 billion) almost matched American exports to the Arab world ($ 50 billion). Earlier this
year, China finally surpassed the United States to become the largest trading partner in the Arab world ...
to emphasize how an emerging Arab world is turning away from the West and Rediscovering China.

Syria is the aforementioned country that has a continuous political thaw and is the commercial
intersection of East and West on the old silk route.

The largest investor in Syria is the Chinese company Haier, which produces washing machines and
microwaves in the country. Another Chinese company has recently completed a $ 180 million
hydroelectric installation. On the drawing board are large real estate projects, including resorts on the
Syrian Mediterranean coast. 48,000 hotel beds will be put online in the next three years, almost doubling
the number of beds currently available. Tourism is increasing strongly in this country and currently
represents 13% of the economy.

CHAPTER 5

ADD A PRODUCT TO YOUR STORE

How To Become A Successful Sales Professional - Believe In Yourself, Your Product And Your Store

Imagine walking into a store to buy the right tools to repair a broken door. The employee in this store who
mumbles and behaves uncertainly and hesitantly does not inspire confidence - he is not doing anything
to reinforce your belief that you are purchasing the right product to solve your problem. Or he (she) just
in a bad mood or tired and doesn't want to talk. Would you buy from this questionable employee, or
would you look for another store where an expert professional was ready to serve you competently and
confidently? The seller in the first store does not want you to leave, but he displays an atmosphere of
uncertainty - he is not sure of himself, which makes him uncertain about his product. Sellers with a
negative attitude towards themselves are selling customers off. Nobody wants to communicate with
unprofessional people or pessimists. The confidence that you as a seller show in yourself is magically
transferred to your customers and builds their trust in you and your store. Your confident ride gives
customers confidence that they have made the right choice for consumers.

Some sellers lose a sale before it even starts. Why? They express their fear of future failure in their words
and attitudes. Their unconscious, even conscious prediction that they will fail, their prediction of a
negative result and their pessimistic attitude ("this customer won't buy anything", "this one only looks
around him", "this woman is badly dressed, so I will him show the cheaper line ") does not allow them to
succeed in their sales.

Professional sellers know this. They know that they cannot allow a bad mood or problems at home to
seep into their interactions with customers. Real professionals have the unique ability to generate
optimism, a positive attitude and belief in themselves and a successful sale.

62
Believe In Your Product

The first step in selling a product is selling to yourself. You have probably already encountered this
dilemma - again, it comes from uncertainty. If you have not completely "purchased" the product you are
selling, answering questions about it or demonstrating its effectiveness does not have the real enthusiasm
that you naturally manifest with a product that you truly believe in. Without this true belief in the product,
it is very difficult for you to convince your customer about the benefits of the good. Very often sales
professionals cannot only sell because they do not fully trust the product (or even like it) for personal
reasons. The reason for this distrust maybe your own negative experience, the experience of family
members or friends, or even a stereotype developed by your society. A negative attitude towards the
product, company or manufacturer that you have encountered in the press or on television can also be
the cause of your unwillingness to sell these products.

Regardless of their source, these negative stereotypes mean that sellers never offer such products and
therefore they remain in the store like a dead load for a long time. If so, I suggest that you as an employee
discuss the problem with your supervisor to reveal the specific reasons for your mistrust and aversion to
certain products to begin the constructive work of change or elimination. of these stereotypes.

If you are unable or unwilling to sell certain products (for example a new product), you may not be
sufficiently familiar with them. Study the instructions, ask advice from someone who has passed sells the
product and/or invites the supplier's representative to provide you with detailed information and to
answer your questions. Remember that the impressions of people about a product and their reasons for
it are completely individual - the fact that your family and friends do not like a particular product does not
mean that other people will not like it or that you should not offer it.

The depth of your belief in a product, your knowledge of it and your pride in being the person who can
deliver it influences the outcome of the sale. This conviction is immediately transferred to your customer
and helps to remove their doubts and uncertainties.

63
Believe In Your Company

If you are not convinced that your store is the place where you want to work - if it is not a place where
you feel comfortable and confident, where you are appreciated and where you want to build your career
- start thinking about a different workplace. When billionaires and entrepreneur Jim Pattison, British
Columbia's main activity, was the sale of cars, the showrooms were known as the place where the least
productive salesman was briefly fired every month. Years later, many of those who were fired reflected
that the apparent cruelty of Pattison was a disguised blessing - they were not happy as car sellers, and
after being forced to leave, they eventually found a career (often in selling another) kind) where they
could thrive. Doubts about your company and the prospects for its development and the future often
form the basis of your inner uncertainty and pessimism. Appreciate where you work.

The sales professional is the key figure in any dialogue with customers and therefore the key to the store's
success. You represent the public face of the store and you largely form the image of the company as a
whole. The belief that your store is one of the best in the city, that its purpose is to constantly develop
and care for its customers, builds your confidence and motivates you to grow and improve.

Two approaches to add products to your online store:

As I built my web store and consulted with other web retailers, I noticed two different trends about how
store owners were planning to add "inventory" to their web stores. line. The first approach (I call it the
megastore) is to focus on adding as many products as possible from as many suppliers as possible. The
second approach (I call this niche domination) is to add enough products to your store to have a legitimate
selection of inventory and then focus on getting a ranking for terms related to what's in your store. I will
explain more about these two ways of thinking.

The Megastore approach

64
During the second year of my online business, I was approached by a representative of the manufacturers
of one of the companies whose products we sold. Manufacturers' representatives generally market many
different companies in the same product niche. This is especially true in the sports equipment industry.
The representative stopped at our home office as part of his schedule of regular visits to his customers.
He asked me if we would be interested in wearing any of the other lines he represented, and I told him
we would like to try them. One of the suppliers has made sports uniforms. We quickly created an account
and started listing their products on our website.

It didn't take long (within a week) before we started receiving orders for the new products we had added
to our site. Especially because our online business was somewhat established, Google and the other
search engines quickly discovered our new products. We were happy with the growth and that gave me
an idea. At that time we had around 2500 products on our website and we were able to make a profit of
around $ 75,000 - $ 90,000 for the year. My reasoning was as follows: if we would double the number of
products in our database, wouldn't that double the amount of profit we make? Well, we tried it, and it
did. We have added more than 2500 new products to our online store over the next year and a half and
have doubled our total profit accordingly.

The approach to niche dominance

With more than 5,000 products in my online store, I had a much larger stock than my brothers' stock. They
opted for an alternative approach to grow their business. My brother, who owns an outdoor product
store, preferred to focus on search terms related to thermal underwear. Instead of adding more and more
products to his site, he turned his attention to getting the links he needed to rank his site for these and
similar terms. The decision to follow this route probably came with his decision to keep a large inventory
of the products he sold. It makes sense that if you have invested thousands of dollars in products, you
want those products to be moved as quickly as possible, so you make it your goal. If all of your inventory
is on the shelves of one of your suppliers, you are not too concerned about the products that you are
selling.

A spectrum is involved if you talk about one of these approaches. Most stores are somewhere in the
middle, with a product on a website while the search engines dominate for different terms used to find
that product; and on the other hand, have thousands of products in their store, but not an important
keyword for which their store scores well. When you consider where you want your company to be, you

65
are limited by the market conditions and the competitiveness of the products you want to sell, your access
to good suppliers and other factors that may put you aside or otherwise.

Comparison of the two approaches

There are certain advantages and disadvantages to these two approaches. Consider the megastore
approach that every product that you add to your store makes your operation somewhat more difficult.
For example, you must have real knowledge about how your products work. Every product that you add
to your site expands what you and the person you could hire is needed to answer customer calls.
Moreover, as your supplier list grows, there are more complications during your treatment process. Our
list included more than 30 suppliers, and it was often quite a job to teach new employees how to handle
orders with each supplier.

An advantage of the megastore approach is that you are generally very well diversified. Sometimes Google
tends to do strange and unexpected things, which means that if you plan to be at the top of a particular
keyword group and are suddenly abandoned, this can significantly reduce your sales. My brother
experienced it after buying a large stock of thermal underwear. He was in the search results for this term
all summer. When the cold season struck, his site was placed far below the search list and he hit because
he could not sell his inventory.

By evaluating the market research scenario for the products you sell and understanding what you need
to do to capture a popular search term versus longer search terms, you can create a plan to optimize your
efforts.

3 Steps To Get Your Product To The Store

Instead of using a distributor, you have decided to sell your product directly to retailers. This may be the
right decision for young brands that do not yet have the budget or volume to outsource. Whether you are
trying to get your first retailer or want to expand into a new area, getting your product into a physical
store can be a challenge.

66
Take a deep breath, put on Beyoncé and follow these three steps to get your next role and get your
product to the store.

Step 1:

Bait your package

You may have only sold online where you can provide descriptions, multiple images, or even tutorials with
your product. You may have sold at trade shows or product shows where you can explain your product
directly to a customer. In a store environment, your product must stand out on its own. Your packaging
must explode before a store can put your product on the shelves.

ACTION: Take your product. Try to take a fresh look at it and answer these questions honestly on your
packaging:

 Does it communicate the characteristics, benefits and values of my product?

 What makes my packaging better than that of my competitor?
 How good is he on the shelf?

Step 2:

know the seller and how you fit to get your product to a store

You cannot only rely on the quality of your product. In step 1 you have examined your packaging. If your
product sells the best, does the retailer use it? For each meeting, try to find out what the store's pricing
strategy is and whether there are any allocation costs. Read more about the store brand, the tone it strives
for and the promotion strategies it uses by scanning the social media. Take a virtual tour of your incognito
store before your presentation.

ACTION: Open a note on your phone and make a list of questions you can ask yourself when you leave
the store. Includes these three questions:

67
 Where does my product go to the store?
 How many shelves and/or slots do I need? How does this relate to other products?
 See who buys and what he buys. Does my product match the personality of the customer?

Step 3:

practice your pitch and then practice more

Your presentation must be personal, not by telephone. This also gives you the option to bring samples of
your product to the store. Practice the highlights and be ready to respond to the smallest details, but also
respect the time of the purchasing manager. He or she can do three tasks at the same time and wants to
have all the available time. Having a sales form with all important information is important, but don't
bother with it during the field. Know your product inside and out. Train in the mirror or for your dog if
necessary. (Seriously. It works).

ACTION: Make a sales sheet. Try Canva, an easy-to-use tool for creating print marketing tools such as this
one. Consider the following:

 Clear design: it must be consistent with your logo, brand, colour palette, etc.
 Product images: record what it looks like on the screen
 Price information: can provide the magazine to the seller, showing that you know their price
structure
 Order information
 Customer testimonials and social media accounts: these show brand value
 Your contact details
 A call to action

Now you know how to get your product to stores and crush your store goals! Moreover, you will not go
anywhere if you do not believe in yourself and your product.

68
5 Steps To Save Your Product

When you offer a consumer product, you must decide whether you want to sell in-store or only online.

To help you decide the same problem, here are some advantages and disadvantages of starting wholesale:

Benefits:

 Faster movement of your product

 More cash flow with larger orders
 Greater reach of consumers
 Brand exposure

The cons:

 Cut your margins in half

 Spend a lot of time managing and communicating with stores
 Offers less control over branding
 Buying from a store is a more important investment than buying from a single consumer.

A consideration is that you don't have to go to many stores. If you are concerned about the protection of
the brand, you can establish an excellent relationship with a chain and offer an exclusivity agreement.
Anyway, when you are ready to visit the stores, here are a few steps:

Establish your conditions. There are specific conditions that you need when a store asks for it.

These are the questions that stores will ask:

 What is your minimum opening order? Minimum order? You can set these minimums based on
units ordered or dollar amounts. But when you sell at the wholesale price, you want to set a
minimum so that you can cover the volume costs.

69
 What is your lead time? From order to delivery, know when your customer can expect your
products.
 What are your payment terms? We invoiced the store after the order arrived, but after we were
burned several times, we changed our conditions to payment at the time of shipment. After
payment, we ship to the customer. Some major retailers require a "net 30" agreement that pays
you 30 days after the customer receives the product. It is up to you whether you can wait that
long and cover production.
 How do you ship? Do you offer insurance? Decide how you want to charge shipping costs (national
flat rate, weight, etc.) and which courier you want to use. Also, determine what to do if the
package is lost or damaged (think it will happen). Agree with the store before indicating who is
responsible for damage/loss after the package has been sent. You can offer optional additional
insurance (for an additional fee) to cover lost packages or damage.
 Exchange and return? Decide how you want to deal with product breakage or where the customer
is not satisfied with the product. I propose to offer a kind of trade window that the customer can
use when delivering his order.

Make your line sheets. Your line sheets, your first impression at the store, must contain the following:

 Company presentation
 Conditions (see an explanation of conditions above)
 Order instructions
 Product catalogue, with:
1. Wholesale price and MSRP
2. SKU number and product name
3. Dimensions and variations
4. Any additional product details

Our site is powered by Shopify, so we use an app called Now In-Store that synchronizes our wholesale
products with our catalogue for easy updates and adjustments.

Optimize your site to show that you are selling wholesale: Make sure you include a large tab on your site
so that people know you are offering it. Include a contact form for stores to fill in information about

70
themselves - information that you can use to send line sheets once you start earning stores, you can also
find a list or a map where people can find your product in-store locations.

Communicate with local buyers: Now that you have defined your terms and conditions and your line
sheets are ready, you start at local companies where you see an adjustment for your brand. Try to get the
name of a buyer and plan a meeting where you take samples and discuss the brand.

The first Headbands of Hope: Stores were established because I came in with blindfolds and asked to
speak with the buyer. I was so convinced that they would sell that I offered a consignment agreement to
the stores to test them (only pay for me when the products were sold).

If you want to get your foot in the door, you can also offer a shipment. However, to quote from my
personal experience, I have found that as my business has grown, it has become more difficult to track
orders and controls on a shipment basis, so today we are not just doing orders.

Attend trade shows: trade shows are an investment but can be a big-ticket for many stores and large
retailers. As a fashion brand, we visit American Mart and accessories. Stores come to your stand to learn
more about the products and to place orders during the show (if they like your products).

After you have secured the stores, you can help them sell your product. The more they can sell, the more
they will buy from you. Offer display material or even Skype-in to their sales staff and discuss the most
important sales arguments. Make a list of newsletters only for your stores, so that you can adapt your
communication and news about your company to their language.

Find Products For Your Store Site

Have you ever wondered how you can find the products you want to sell in your online store? If you want
to start your own online business but have not yet found your suppliers, it is time to do serious online
business.

Without suppliers, you have no idea what you will pay for your products. That's why you don't know how
much profit you can make - or that you can earn it completely. Good planning becomes almost impossible.

71
To move from the idea of setting up an internet store to running your own online business, you must take
several steps. One of the most important steps is to find reliable suppliers for your products.

Watch Out For So-Called Suppliers

Running an online store is a real thing. But for some reason, many people think that opening an online
store will make them rich and independent. That is why they are still looking for simple ways to open an
online store and stock up on products. Of course, this is known to fraudsters - who are willing to milk the
dreamers to get rich quickly for what they are worth.

One of the most common services used by scammers is to act as a supplier: a company that claims to be
a manufacturer or wholesaler, while it is much further down the food chain - and sometimes at the end
of it. Fraudsters will make many claims while, in fact, they simply lower the store owner's margins - in
some cases, sell more expensive than other store owners who sell them to consumers.

This would, of course, be impossible if the future store owners had done their homework. When trying to
create shortcuts when looking for suppliers, quicksteps get rich, not just by shooting themselves -
sometimes they kill their entire company before it even starts.

Trusted Partner

Your supplier must be your trusted partner - not a sneaky crook trying to empty your wallet.

If you select "What to sell online in your store?" Having read, you know how to find products to sell in
your online store. The question now is how you can get these products without being the victim of a scam.
Before you can do this, you must officially register your company. It is usually a simple process - and is
generally cheap.

However, this is an extremely important step. After your company is registered, you have an officially
registered company name and registration or tax number (which vary from country to country). With this
registration information, you can now contact wholesalers and distributors.

72
Reputable distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers will ONLY deal with you if you are a registered
trader or vice versa: anyone who wants to sell you wholesale products without verifying that you are a
registered trader is probably not reputable and will not offer you any wholesale price.

Wholesale a Lot

Unfortunately, company registration still does not open all doors. Much will also depend on the number
of products that you intend to purchase when opening your online store. Many manufacturers and
wholesalers only sell goods in bulk, which means that they do not open boxes to sell you smaller
quantities. You either take the box or you don't.

This is of course perfectly logical for a wholesaler because the work required to sell the entire box is less
than splitting. More money can be made and less work is involved - certainly not a very difficult decision.
But it's not just about the money. The decision to only sell batches in bulk also protects you as a store
owner. Why would we buy products from you if they could buy directly from wholesalers?

Another method to protect store owners is a minimum order value. It also makes it harder for end-users
to buy from wholesalers and distributors. Since most end users only buy small quantities and are not
registered as traders, they cannot buy from real wholesalers. Without this protection, there would be no
place for you in the food chain.

Smell a Scammer

So what do you think of a scammer? They will not ask you for your company registration details or tax
number and they will sell you end-user quantities of goods at high prices - leaving you behind or only a
small profit margin to play with (that is, if you can find the product on the internet for the same price or
even less, you know the supplier stinks!). Also, your company may charge you monthly fees to provide
you with product and price lists. No reputable wholesaler does this.

Armed with this knowledge, you can now start looking for real suppliers. To do this, simply start from the
top. View the product packaging to find out who the manufacturer is. Just pick up the phone and call the
manufacturer. Ask the sales department and ask them who is the distributor of the product in your area.

73
Once you know the distributor, you can contact him to see if they are ready to sell you and what conditions
apply. Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't, and sometimes they will lead you to another
distributor down the food chain that might be better suited to deal with you, depending on your size.

It's that simple if you want to start a real online business. Once you know a distributor, they can also
deliver other products or know other distributors who can help you.

Exhibitions

Another way to find real distributors is to go to salons that are closed to the general public. Visit artisan
markets where you will find countless small manufacturers who may want to work with you to find a
larger audience. Talk to the sellers and discover who the manufacturer is. It can be the person you are
talking to regardless of the size of the company you are dealing with, it never makes sense to check the
legitimacy of a supplier by calling the product manufacturer if you have any doubts.

Drop Shipping

So how do you start an online business if you don't have enough money to invest heavily in your dream?
You start with less profit. That is at least the promise of direct delivery Instead of storing your products,
simply send an order to your sender, who will send the product to you for the customer. All you have to
do is create your store, fill it with the products that are supported by the direct sender, and market your
website.

Does this sound too good to be true? Mostly.

Many companies with drop-shipper lists charge you a monthly fee to give you access to product lists and
prices. Many potential store owners who have followed this route have discovered that the products are
more expensive than the consumer prices that are already available on the internet.

74
To find genuine drop-shippers that are reliable, follow the same path as described above - but ask for
drop-shippers (remember that drop-shipping is mainly located in the United States). Real drop senders
will ask you to provide the details of company registration because they are still wholesalers and only sell
to companies.

Customer References

Ask the sender to deposit customer references and order a product from one of his resellers through a
friend to see if the system works properly. If you use drop-shipping, you do not have to store the product
and you do not have to send it. But the customer will always hold you responsible for the entire process.
When setting up your supplier network, always keep in mind that you should talk to the people you will
be working with. Your reputation, your income and your ability to develop your business depend on their
support. Shopping cart software such as ShopFactory can make it easier to set up your store. But no
software can replace you as the real engine of your online business success.

HOW TO RUN FACEBOOK ADS IN YOUR STORE

Quick Tips To Make Money With Facebook Ads

The next time you sign up with Facebook, instead of completely ignoring the images and ads on the right-
hand side of the page, think about who shows these ads and how they make money. After all, if they didn't
make money, wouldn't you see them? A lot of money can be made on Facebook.

I will give you a brief overview of how?

Find An Offer For Your Audience

One of the best functions of Facebook ads is that you can target who you want to see your ads on. If you
are advertising a local ice cream shop, simply type "ice cream" in the area of interest and select people
within 40 km of your city. Now you advertise with all potential customers, but you are very focused on
the process.

Have A Website For Your Offer

Of course, your ad is seen by many people on Facebook, but what if they click on your ad? You must have
a website for your ad so that the customer can take action to find the information he was looking for. In
the ice cream parlour example, you can simply refer the user to a discount voucher that he must print and
bring to the store.

The next time you sign up for Facebook, go to the ad section and start setting up your ad campaigns and
see if you can make money like everyone else.

Do Your Ads Reach The Right People? Facebook Ads And Target Audience

With Facebook advertising, online entrepreneurs can promote their business and reach a large number
of people. Facebook ads enable business people to target a very specific group of people for higher
conversion rates and income. Advertising on Facebook can be very useful, especially for those who run a
small business. Advertising on Facebook is affordable and easy to maintain. You can also reach people
who are likely to be interested in purchasing your product.

Although Facebook advertising is simple and easy, some people still find it difficult to use it effectively.
Others still have the problem of targeting the right people to click on their ads and discover their business.
If you are one of those who have trouble targeting people on Facebook.

Read on and discover these solutions to your problem.

Keyword Targeting

This type of targeting is one of the most popular and powerful ways to filter the people who see your
Facebook ad. For example, if your site is all about selling relationship information and you want to target
the search term "relationship advice," you can identify that keyword in the Targeting section of Facebook
ads. Facebook then sorts the people who match this keyword based on interests, activities, pages visited,
groups and updates.

Facebook can also help you target keywords by proposing keywords that are highly relevant to your
business and products. If you wish, you can also conduct an independent keyword search and apply this
to ad campaigns on Facebook.

Geographic Targeting

By using Facebook ads, you can also target your customers at specific locations. With Facebook, you can
identify the country, city or state from which you want to target customers. This type of targeting is
especially beneficial for small businesses whose customer base is currently limited. Geographic targeting
is also used by domestic businesses, but small businesses can still benefit greatly from it.

77
Advertisers can now choose from more than 25 countries, including multiple cities and states. Facebook
also offers radius targeting that allows the user to target people within a certain radius in a city. With
Radius Targeting, it is easier for small and local businesses to reach people who are close to or at locations
a short distance from their city.

Age Targeting

Another way to target people via Facebook is age orientation. This helps you focus on people of a certain
age category. This can be useful, especially if you are selling products that are suitable for a certain type
of age, for example. Toys, novels for adults, bags for businesswomen, clothing for teenagers, etc. Age
targeting is fairly easy to do, but Facebook experts recommend using it with a different targeting tool,
such as keyword targeting or location.

Targeting on Connection

This type of targeting is relatively new but very effective according to those who have tried it. Targeting
with connection allows you to target fans of your pages, members of your groups, participants in one of
your events or users of an application that you have developed. Small businesses can take advantage of
this targeting scheme because you are sure that your ads will reach people who are interested in your
business or product. Because they are already connected to you in one way or another, chances are they
will be encouraged to buy something in a store they've already heard.

Relationship Targeting

Last but not least; small businesses can also use relationship targeting. This type of targeting specifies
people based on the status of the relationship that they have published on their Facebook accounts. It is
a marketing function that emphasizes the phase of life and the current social role. Relationship targeting
works best in combination with gender targeting. These two can produce very specific results that can
work wonders even for small businesses.

78
Using Facebook ads makes it easier for you to target customers who increase your revenue. Even if your
business is small, you can also take advantage of this great social marketing tool. Remember that
everything must be done with passion, creativity and determination. Good luck.

How To Use Facebook To Grow Your Business With Local Markets

Facebook is a valuable tool that must be used by all business owners. It doesn't matter if you are small or
large, if you are a fully managed online business or if you have a store. Whether your company only serves
the region or if you cover the entire United States, Facebook can do it.

There are many ways to do this. Some can be done by yourself, while others may need professional help.
When you try to grow your business with Facebook, you need to consider all of these techniques.

1. Fan page

A fan page is a great way to grow your business with the local market. You must market your fan
page as much as possible. It is a good idea to have a link at the top of your website so that it is
immediately visible your visitors arrive on your site. It is also a good idea to make flyers and
distribute them to people who visit your store or place them in the orders you send.

After the fan page is created, you must constantly post messages on your page. You want people
to return to your page day after day, so you need to find ways to do this. Posting tips, asking
questions, and answering questions are some of the easy ways to do this. You can also link your
blog to your fan page so that your blog articles are automatically published every time you create
them.

79
Finding local people who like your page can be challenging, but it's not impossible. First, you have
to find the people you know. Once you find local people, you need to find their friends to find
other local people. The more local people you find, the more people will visit your fan page.

2. Facebook ads

Facebook has advertisements on the right side of every page. These advertisements are placed
on pages based on the information on the page. Ads look like Google AdSense because they are
created based on keywords and phrases. When you create your ad, you choose specific details to
put them in the right place.

Creating these ads is something you should pay attention to because this is the first thing people
see and it helps them decide whether they want to click on your site or not. It is important to use
suitable images for the advertisement and you must also ensure that you use text that stands out
and attracts the attention of your viewers.

Facebook has various tools that you can use to develop your local business market. You must use
them to find local people so that you can also market them. Local markets are not hard to find if
you use these steps above.

Why A Lead Capture Funnel Is Essential For The Success Of Facebook
Ads

Knowing what a prospect or sales funnel is and how sales judges work is essential for success in Facebook
ads. Otherwise, you leave money on the table because you do not optimize the advertisements at every
stage of the sales process.

For the sake of simplicity we will define a sales funnel with three phases: the top, the middle and the
bottom. To achieve higher conversion rates, you must create separate ad types for each phase of the
funnel.

At the top of the sales funnel, for example, people do not know what your brand is and what you are
doing, so you must introduce yourself to them. To that end, brand awareness and reach ads are great
goals to use for your Facebook ad. You do not want to sell them aggressively, as this could deactivate your
brand. Try offering something of value instead. When they interact with your ad, you can later target them
again with another ad using the retargeting tool (Facebook Pixel)

In the middle of your funnel, your target group is in a phase where they are more likely to see your
company as the solution to their problem. Since this is your second point of contact with your target
audience, they are more likely to respond to your ad. You can use different campaign goals, depending on
what you want to achieve. For example, you can choose from Traffic, Involvement, Application
Installations, Video Views, Lead Generation and Facebook advertising messages. Maybe a few people in
your audience are ready to buy something from you now, but most need more details. So we are entering
the next phase of the funnel.

At the bottom of the funnel, where you ask people to buy your things. You've already contacted them,
you've given a lot of value so far, they've signed you up with your previous announcements, visited your
site, signed up for your mailing list, downloaded your app, and more. They must now be ready to buy. You
can create a Facebook ad with one of the following goals: conversions, catalogue sales, and store visits.
When you create the perfect advertisement, one that resonates with the bottom of your audience in a
funnel, you have them in the bag. You can also do some split tests to find the winning ad that you can
adjust later.

82
And of course, you can still use Facebook Pixels to target your existing customers (who have already
purchased from you) for an upsell of the same product, to offer them a brand new product that you have
just created, or just to start a survey and ask them to ask what they expect from you so that they can solve
a new and current problem they are facing.

Discover How Easy It Is To Sell On Facebook

Facebook has recently attracted a lot of attention because of the upcoming launch of its IPO. Users and
marketers who do business, however, are more interested in how they can sell on Facebook because the
social media giant has such a large user base that they can use it. Here is a brief overview for those who
like to have a Facebook store.

Do You Already Have A Store?

If you don't do this, you can easily create one using web-hosted shopping cart software. Today, many
shopping cart providers have added functionality to their e-commerce solution so that their customers
can sell the same products that they have in their online store on their Facebook. Anyone in the world can
start their own online business using a shopping cart because it has a fairly extensive set of functions and
powerful tools that you need to run your business. After you have created your online store, you can start
the Facebook sales process.

Will It Be Expensive?

If you are unsure whether your current service provider has the functionality to publish your products to
your Facebook store, it is best to inquire about this. If so, make sure you know if there are additional costs
and what the steps are to send your Facebook. Some providers bundle this functionality with their
monthly subscription.

83
Remember These Important Tips

Keep in mind that selling on Facebook is different because it involves a more personal approach in terms
of communication with your customers. They can very well help promote your store by "liking" and
"sharing" your store with their friends and contacts. Check if your service provider authorizes the payment
processor if they can send your buyers back to your store to complete the process. And make sure that all
your products are correctly categorized with beautiful images in your store before you place them on your
Facebook store.

Start Sharing And Posting On It

You can start by introducing new products or services to existing customers. It is best to have a sale or
publish a creative idea to get responses from people. Don't overdo it.

Reveal The Secrets Of Facebook Ads

With Facebook ads, you can reach more than 175,000,000 active users. As a business owner, I am sure
you will think about how you can use this huge network to market your brand. If you do not know how to
operate Facebook and advertise your company, you have come to the right place. Now let me show you
the secrets of Facebook ads.

With Facebook ads, you can target your target audience precisely based on demographics, such as age,
location, interest, gender, etc. This gives you the option to transfer your advertising message to the right
group of people. If you have a business between private individuals, Facebook is a good advertising
channel for you. For example, if you have a men's shoe company and have a store, you can use social
Facebook ads to target your audience by location and gender.

In addition to social ads, you can also buy banner ads and use flyers to target specific groups. You can buy
some of these leaflets for just $ 5. It is certainly a very profitable marketing channel.

You can then create a fan page for your company. Creating fan pages is free. You can upload photos,
videos, post comments, write a blog post and write a description of your company on the page. With a

84
fan page, you can encourage your friends to become fans of your company. Besides, fans can share the
page with others with the click of a button. This will cause a viral epidemic that increases the brand
awareness of your company.

If you want to be successful in Facebook ads, you must be social. The real secret of Facebook advertising
is word of mouth. Get to know more friends before promoting your product or service to them. One way
to get to know more friends is to join other groups regarding what you offer. You should be able to find
many like-minded people there. Then contact them first and get to know them personally before you do
business. It is easier to do business with someone you know than with a stranger.

There is no room for an aggressive Facebook seller. If you are arrogant and send messages to everyone
with your product or service pitch, you will not succeed. Make sure you present your product or service
in a non-arrogant way.

Summary

In short, anyone can do it if they take the time to do their research and first build their store. You can get
inspiration from the most popular Facebook sellers to get started. Good luck!
