The Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011-the WHS
(NUL) Act- covers the Occupational Health and Safety in Northern Territory.

The standard of proof for a breach of the Act or regulations is beyond reasonable
doubt- the criminal standard.
Vicarious Liability means holding one person liable for the actions (which can be
damages and harms) of another person. Considering job, it can be elaborated that

You are working security in a large night-club. The music is extremely loud in the
venue and you notice that at the end of your shifts your ears are often ringing.
In addition, you have also noticed that the fire exits are locked to prevent under-age
customers sneaking in.
It is better to use earmuffs or earpiece. If problem persists, I will discuss the problem
with other security guard whether they are having same issue or not. If all guards are
having same problem, then reservations can be given to supervisor

on the floor?
First, I will put the signboards indicating broken glass. After that I would ask the
management to send cleaning staff to clear the floor with complete precautions.
