TAXIING PROCEDURES
GROUND MOVEMENT
Towed push-back manoeuvres are compulsory at the parking positions 1 thru 11, except for the
parking postions 9B, 10B, 11B, 12, 13 and 14 in which their autonomous exit will be carried out
using the minimum start-up engine power, idle regime.
Unless TWR advises otherwise, the exit manoeuvres from parking positions 4 thru 8 will be carried
out always nosing to the start of the runway in use.

Arrival:
Acft has to wait for follow-me vehicle before entering the apron. Taxiing on apron and the stand
will always be with follow-me.
Departure:
On requesting start-up clearance, pilots have to report the complete acft call sign and stand
occupied. Push-back manoeuvre and engine start-up must be ready in less than 10 minutes
from clearance. The time between end of push-back and beginning of taxiing must be max 2 minutes.
After this period and if any problem or failure should exist preventing the taxiing, pilots must report
this to Tower and will request the handling agent to tow the acft to a stand in order to vacate
the twy on the apron.

Arrivals
VFR ACFT will request clearance prior to entering CTR
and will establish contact with TWR prior reaching REPs N
or S and proceed along routes until reaching N1 or S1.
From those REPs, if appropriate, will be given clearance
into TFC circuit at REP E.

Departures
ACFT wanting to leave CTR will receive instruction from
TWR before TKOF. Pilots shall inform TWR over REPs E, S
or N, as required.

Overflying CTR
Request clearance from TWR and follow VFR routes.

Radio Failure
Enter CTR via VFR routes, maintain MAX 1000' AGL in
traffic circuit, await clearance by visual signals from TWR.
