12 tarts box is the cheaper option.

Number of 12 tarts boxes Melissa can buy = 250 ÷ 32 = 7 R 26 ≈ 7 boxes

5
of what Kaylene had. Joyce then gave 8 of her stickers to Kaylene. As a result,
Kaylene had 108 more stickers than Joyce. How many stickers did Joyce have at

At first, Kaylene had 10u stickers, Joyce had 8u stickers

5
Stickers Joyce gave to Kaylene = 8u X 8 = 5u

Finally number of stickers Kaylene had = 10u + 5u = 15u

Finally Joyce had = 8u - 5u = 3u

Difference = 15u – 3u = 12u = 108

u = 108 ÷ 12 = 9

At first Joyce had 8u = 8 x 9 = 72 stickers
